I always want to see a driving tour of the John Kilpatrick Turnpike. Thanks Mileage Mike!
They plan to extend I-240 along SH-152 and the Kilpatrick if it gets approved
nice ride along John Kilpatrick turnpike
Very nice!!
Nice video from you, Mike! Personally, once it reaches to four lanes, it give it a slight feeling of the Houston's Grand Parkway, especially on the newer segment of the turnpike, and if people wanna experience one of the best Oklahoma concrete sounds, I'd recommend this turnpike as one of the roadways in the state for it.
This was the first turnpike in Oklahoma to go fully cashless; doing so on Sunday July 25, 2021.
Sidelights: The ramp to Hefner Parkway at 4:14 is my personal favorite in all of OKC.
Rockwell Avenue (at 6:31) leads to Putnam City North High School, home of the Panthers (colors are gold and maroon), and alma mater of Sam Bradford.
At 8:33, entering Canadian County.
At 12:24, crossing the Oklahoma (formerly North Canadian) River.
At 21:44, re-entering Oklahoma County.
OK 152 is also known as Airport Road.
Suggestion: Oklahoma City to Dallas I-35 south
Left north out of OKC but maybe next time I’m in the area.
@@MileageMikeTravelsevery couple years you should revisit and document the growth..ps I saw and enjoyed your turnpike video this road will soon be i344 but it will still be tolled
Suggestion: John D Dingell Drive Northbound through the Detroit Metro Airport
I’ll keep it in mind
@@MileageMikeTravelsI can’t tell you how much I look forward to when you cover Michigan 😁
