Beautiful country. The distance between passable and impossible terrain isn't all that much, so the original railroad, the old highway (US 12) and the current I-90 are pretty much in sight of each other.
I was running across that route before the Freeway was built. There are alternatives that are not covered in idiots. Freeways are made to keep Fools out of my way. Looking at the footage of Freeways, seems anti climactic?
