Ridge & Taylor were the supercouple in the earlier episodes of B&B. But post 2002 Ridge became a wimp, pathetic and toxic. He deserved Brooke. They should’ve bought a new character in or Taylor or written Ron Moss and Hunter Tylo out together in 2012 and bought a new bloke in for Brooke. That triangle got very boring and I had to stop watching it after 2002. I got sick of Brooke’s crying.... Judging by these clips, I didn’t miss much after 2002… Ridge became an indecisive a-hole.

Ridge went after Taylor while she was treating him during his mourning of Caroline’s death. He wanted her then. He stopped her from marrying Storm Logan, and when he was married to Taylor and Caroline’s ghost came to hi, to remind him how much he loved Taylor. All that crap the writers wrote that Stephanie manipulated his and Taylor’s getting together. Those of us who watched this story from day one remember Stephanie didn’t like Taylor and wanted Ridge to be with Brooke. Regardless of the little Eric accident, Stephanie didn’t tell Ridge to go after Taylor, he went on his own. When he married Taylor the first time Stephanie was waiting for Brooke to show up to stop the wedding. So please all this ?Stephanie’s manipulations, Brooke is one also. How could you want a man you so call Love stay with you and raise his Father’s children over his own son. Please people. Bell Jr. will never have the great imagination of his father & mother.

@treg1980 Ridge had just recently met Taylor having known Brooke for a long time and had a relationship with her.. that was just the beginning, then Ridge fell for Taylor and married her, even when he found out (falsely) that he was Bridget's father, not only did he not seem happy at all the way he was when Taylor told him she was pregnant (with Thomas) when they weren't even together and when she told him he was the father and not Thorne (at which point he was married to Brooke) , but also, he stayed with Taylor dispite believing he had a child with Brooke , but when he learnt about Thomas he did leave Brooke for Taylor and and the they had a very long and happy marriage and he never gave Brooke a second look until Taylor was believed to be dead the second time. . After Taylor first return Ridge chose Brooke only because of the kids as he said himself later on.. after he left Brooke for kissing Grant, he went right back to Taylor and kept going after her and wouldn't give up when he could've gone to Brooke any time who of course kept going after him but he kept rejecting her, only when Taylor told him she was pregnant with Thorne's baby, did he go back to Brooke
I don't like how the writer's reduced her character to a scorn woman that's still bitter about her divorce from Ridge years ago. Go back to vintage Taylor, Strong, and independent, let Ridge stay with the Hooker!!!

I hate how the new writers after 2002/2003 rewrote a lot of characters and love stories. Especially Taylor and stephanie characters were complete runied by the new writers. Tridge were a power couple and they loved each other. Brooke was never rigdes first love, that was Caroline and than there was Taylor. Hate that stephanie was constantly after 2004 made the bad guy and got the fault for everything, even the things that weren't her fault. The show went slowly but surely downhill after 2001/2002. They were here and there some great storylines (Felicias cancer, Stephanies childhood abuse, Stephanie at Jackie m, Stephanies cancer and homeless part). After stephanies death and Susan's departure from the show, the show is not watchable anymore. No real storyline, no depth, writing and production are absolutely pointless, just a few decent actors, repetitive stories and triangle from the past with just different characters. The show died when Susan left the show. No wonder ronn moss and hunter tylo not want to come back to this crab.
