Taylor says Brooke stole Ridge from her and used RJ to get him back. At this point, Brooke didn’t even want him. She told him constantly that they were finished as a couple and she was in love with Nic. Taylor just believes what she wants to and she’s a psychiatrist. I feel sorry for the patients she had.
Taylor continues to blame Brooke for the demise of her marriage and even instilled that in her children. Yes, Brooke tried for years to break up Ridge and Taylor, but he never left. However, that wasn't good enough for Taylor. From day one, she always knew the truth of RIDGES' feelings for Brooke. She was ultimately scared that he would finally give into and admit his love for Brooke. That is the real reason she hated Brooke. Taylor also knew that it was her perfect image that kept her on the pedestal over Brooke. Taylor never told her kids the truth of what happened with her marriage to Ridge. She modeled for her children how to blame Brooke for the years of hurt and pain in her marriage. She just couldn't bring herself to accept and hold onto the truth. That night, she told Ridge about James was the first time Taylor was truly transparent about who she was and her life with Ridge.

Ridge had sex with Morgan and kept is as a secret for many months before he confessed it and Taylor took him back regardless of that. The writer was being unrealistic with this storyline, but as everyone knows those juniors who inflicted the show writing cabinet have just damaged the whole thing by first killing Phoebe and damaging Taylor's character, likewise, with Thomas and Steffy. It is demonising and was just damaging to the whole show to be fair, because once you lose respect for a character you grew up liking while watching this show for 20 years then that character is suddenly changed 360 degrees, this loses your interest in this show.
Taylor never takes responsibility for anything she does. She had the best years of his young life and children that should have ONLY BEEN BROOKE AND RIDGE'S, so she needs to be happy and shut up. She got the best part of Ridge and Brooke got the old Ridge and can't have alot of babies with the man she was with first and engaged to and in relationship with first. So Taylor needs to stop it.

There are more, but I think we' can see enough of a pattern to say _Taylor_ not "Taking responsibility" is a bit of a pot and kettle situation.
@treg1980 You know, it's amazing; I'm visiting my step mom right now, and she's watching Calaco Classics station; they show full marathons of old B&B episodes, and are currently in the season from 1992. This is the point where Taylor and Ridge are married, and Brook is pregnant with what she _insists_ is Ridge's child, and what we all _know_ to be Eric's daughter. Watched a few episodes; I'll have to ask Ma for the exact number, but they *actually show the title cards and dates, with episode number,* so I can have her reference it for me, but suffice it to say, this was literally MONTHS after Ridge & Taylor were married [a wedding which, upon finding she was pregnant, and *despite* Ridge telling Brook "I'm going to marry Taylor no matter what you do"] Brook *deliberately tried to interrupt their wedding.* How did they get to this point, where she was pregnant with _Eric's_ child, you may ask, but confused as if to who was the father. Well, according to moms... she *cheated on Eric with Ridge*, thanks to some drama of a letter, which both she and Ridge felt _horrible_ about. Yet Brook chose not to tell Eric directly until it became too much, and _Ridge_ told him. Her reasons? "I would never want to hurt Eric!" The crazy thing is, even _before_ the letter, after developing some new wrinkle free fabric, Ridge & Brook had sex in the lab, and somehow Stephanie got this *on tape!* Oh, and and at that point she WAS married to Eric and *never told him about THAT incident!* In fact, it was that tape which lead to the letter, which lead to Ridge and Brook _somehow_ thinking Eric wouldn't mind them being together... I don't know, man, this was the 90s, it's a soap opera. However, both Ridge *and* Brook [yeah, I'm holding him responsible too, she didn't screw up alone] agreed on the lab incident *not to tell Eric* because _They didn't want to hurt him_ from one stupid, emotional mistake. This was *not* a Life or Death situation, *not* with someone with whom there was a deeper emotional connection, and *not,* obviously, something that, for whatever reason, _didn't happen with the same person AGAIN!_ Yet, Brook used this same excuse first, not once, but TWICE : "I would never want to hurt my husband." Now, _why_ then is it okay for _Brook_ to use that excuse, but somehow it is _not_ okay for Taylor? Oh, and please keep in mind: After doing _her_ shit, Brook *continued* to pursue the person she slept with, even though she was _still married!_ _Taylor_ by contrast, was so torn up about it, she ended up leaving him and being lost for 2 years or more. So please, tell me...how is _Brook's_ action showing better character or somehow excusable?
