Amber and Rick lost custody of Little Eric to Deacon and Macy. Deacon started to call him Little D. Then Macy died and Deacon dissapeared. I think he mentioned during his stint in YR that he was in boarding school. It's funny because Little Eric was probably the most seen baby on soaphistory at the time and he was always in someone's arms, usually Amber's 😂 They could make him appear in BB again. He is Hope's brother after all. Hilarious to think that Little Eric and his once dad, Rick are both Hope's brother's 😂

Rick had fallen back in love with Amber so he wanted to stop the wedding and the only thing he could think of was to find Little Eric's biological father and ask him to give full custody to him and Amber. So that Amber would not feel obligated to marry CJ, who at this point was Little Eric's legal guardian do to his marriage with the baby's biological mother Becky, who died. Her last wish was for CJ and Amber to raise Little Eric.
Deacon is Little Eric's biological father, so he has every right to take him. CJ and Amber had decided to get married and raise Little Eric as their own, but Rick didn't give up on Amber. So here CJ still believed that Amber loved him and would choose him. In his mind Rick was delusional to even think that he would still had any chance with Amber.
