She kept the secret after the fact but always detested Brooke way before that and with good reason. So the only lie her life was built on was that Eric loved her when he simply didn't want anyone else to have her for fear of missing out on something. The children guilting them into being together didn't help matters much either.
Stephanie never takes responsibility for the horrible things she has done to Brooke. We see it but the other characters do not. Here she's gloating after creating a huge wedge between Brooke and her child. She does not care that she hurt Bridget. She only cares about winning back Ridge and ERic's trust at Bridget's expense. Susan F is a excellent actor and brought Stephanie's horrible qualities to life on screen. In real life, these two are very close.

Bridgette did the right thing by ending things with Nick. She'd have spent years having to live with the risk that Brooke and Nick would be committing adultery. She deserved a man who wanted her and wasn't just accepting her as a second choice (although I have to say that what Nick and Brooke have is more a sexual chemistry than genuine love.) You could say that Bridgette got out of this relationship in the nick of time (sorry for the pun!)
And in the end Bridget betrayed Nick - BIG TIME!!

Stephanie's whole life was built on one lie and she became a judgemental person.
It wasn't a lie, she didn't know the truth as for Brooke she deliberately insinuates herself in Stephanie's family via husband, children, grandchildren, and causes nothing but pain and suffering to all of them. Even when she gets whatever idiot falls for her she drops him for the next unavailable man and leaves him with nothing. Stephanie is dead and Brooke sees fit to go after and hurt Steffy and Thomas for kicks.

@@OklahomaGirl 2001 Ridge's accident literally shows Stephanie not knowing Massimo was his father. The doctor had to break it down for her how it was possible. She kept the secret after the fact but always detested Brooke way before that and with good reason. So the only lie her life was built on was that Eric loved her when he simply didn't want anyone else to have her for fear of missing out on something. The children guilting them into being together didn't help matters much either.
Stephanie never takes responsibility for the horrible things she has done to Brooke. We see it but the other characters do not. Here she's gloating after creating a huge wedge between Brooke and her child. She does not care that she hurt Bridget. She only cares about winning back Ridge and ERic's trust at Bridget's expense. Susan F is a excellent actor and brought Stephanie's horrible qualities to life on screen. In real life, these two are very close.
Stephanie didn’t make Brooke act the way she is acting toward Bridget (twice). Brooke also like gloating when her or Hope are winning.
