    TY for this fun project! I just finished mine in two days! MY husband saw me working on it and said "Oh, that's a cool blanket..." and I said "You're gonna hate it." He asked "Why?" and I said "...because I'm gonna wear it!" LOL! This worked up really quickly. I'm about 5'6" and wear a medium, the fit was great with the S/M numbers.

      I thought you were asking about a different pattern, apologies. I have made 4 of these with no issues for staying on my shoulders. All I can think is that you made a size too large, because that’s not an issue anyone had brought up before.

      @@crochetcatsandmore8413 sorry for the lateness on the reply, I wasn’t notified. I used about 9 skeins to make an XL but i made it longer than her original pattern. Could completely get away with 2 pack (8 skeins) if you followed the pattern.

    Thank you for responding. I am very grateful for your free pattern. I am just frustrated with so many commercials. For an example, on this particular video, it has shown me 4 commercials and I haven’t even made it 1/3 of the way through the video. Is there a place where I can pay you for your patterns? I think they are beautiful and I like the way you teach.

      Happy to help! thats interesting as they are usually 5-6 minutes apart, and typically land somewhere youtube thinks is a "dead spot" the written pattern is linked in the description box :)

      you would just not decrease in your Vsts on the sleeve, and do no ribbing :)

    I'm just finishing up the body of this project. Are you supposed to end on a v stitch row? In the photos, it looks like both of the edges end in double crochet.

    I'm concerned as I have different weight yarns. Would it work with them or need to stick to a certain weight?

      I used a mixture. I just made sure not to use 2 lightweights or 2 heavier yarns at the same time. All our scraps are different, the texture is part of the beauty.

    So you did 78 plus 2. 13x6=78plus 2 for 80. What size was this? I need a 2X. You have the same ch80 for each size? Are you do an extra 80 for large/xl and for a 2xto3x another 80? So for a 2x 240 chains?

      hi Suzanne, 80ch is the length, so yes, for all sizes, now, with that said, if you need it shorter, or longer, you will add or subtract in multiples of 3. your 80 chains+2, 80dc for row 1.

      JolieKnots Crochet thanks so kinda one size fits all? Add 6 stitches for an additional 3.5 inches. My daughter is a 2X size.

    I'm a little unsure .. after doing the chains for first arm hole and DC to the end , then DC going back , then do V stitch row , then we are suppose to do 4 repeats .. is this 4 MORE repeats from the one we just did or is that including the one we just did .. if this makes sense

I know you said we can use a DK yarn strand with a worsted weight , I have a lot of Dk Yarn scraps , If I did whole cardigan this way , 1 dk strand and 1 worsted weight together would I have have to adjust the size or will it work up about the same as is ?

    Hi there, I just got done w the first section before you start the first arm hole & I'm measuring 14" & you have 20". Should I keep going until I've reached 20" across for the S/M? I did my 4 time repeat like you.

      Sounds like your gauge might be a bit smaller, so yeah, go ahead and continue for your front panel

    The the large/x1 because I weigh about 160, way to big. I think I will try again with the small and see what happens. Pattern was relatively easy to do.

    I really love this idea...but feel that the arm holes could be lower so it sits on the shoulder a bit higher....would this work ???

      i think that may actually cause it to fall off the shoulder more. but you can try if you like.

      Is your stitch count consistent? Using a stitch marker on your first and last stitches will help

      Yes, Vst is 3 stitches, dc-ch1-dc, so when putting dc row, you will have a dc on top of each stitch

      Kathy Loving, I’m actually updating the pattern now 😁 sc around the neckline, with 1sc in each dc and each chsp. That should help tons 😀

      One thing I discovered I did was measure my back panel from a sweatshirt that had drop sleeves... that is part of what made the sweater want to fall off my shoulders... I have redone it and used a measurement from a shirt that had set it sleeves... made a big difference ... just thought it might be helpful to others (FYI: my drop shoulder measurement across the back was 22" - the set in sleeve measurement was 15")

      You don’t HAVE to, but your size will be off. Use a bulky or super bulky yarn

      I stated any weight, i stated that if you use a bulky yarn for one, use a thinner yarn with that bulky one to even out.

      It is adult sized, and they all have the same starting chain, listed on screen when we work the chain

    I'm a bit confused...was saw excited to follow this pattern but don't understand what your starting with...and if this is a one piece except the sleeves....are you working 2 front panels then a back panel or what...also you are emphasising so much on the yarn rather then the pattern....

      I think it would have been helpful if you perhaps did a diagram in the beginning to show how this piece falls...so basically the strips fall vertically for this garment correct?

      @@jolieknotscrochet3550 As a stash busting project many will have their own types and consistentcies of yarn and will use what they like and how they like it....as long as perhaps you mentioned it should be doubled as well as the gauge, I think that would have been sufficient.

      Excuse me, a magic knot is not intellectual property, you can find it in any knot book, and Neither is a single crochet, or a double crochet. Who should i give credit to? Please go harass someone else.
