@@juliahomersham7770 so this was my first event I ever did so obviously I was nervous and with my horse she knows when I’m nervous and she felt it. I also didn’t know that you were not allowed to get your test called for you so I had literally just learnt the test minutes before so all the pressure was in me. I only had her for a month or so so she was very knew to me. But you would have seen me rushing past Meg when she had finished her cross country and I ended up falling off at the water which I did not know that she wasn’t keen with water 😩 so big day for us that day 😭 x
Can I just say I absolutely love your channel and I honestly cannot understand why you do not have more followers... on this platform at least. You ride beautifully and I find your videos so nice to watch - I used to have a horse and ride but due to a life changing accident I had to stop. Now I watch my sister bring her ex race horse on from afar. Please keep doing what you are doing and making more videos and content - I can already tell you’re going to go very far on this journey of yours!
Elphick.Event.Ponies you’ve had a hard hit this weekend with bear but it’s a small bump on your journey. Keep doing what you’re doing, keep rising and riding through it, keep picking up the camera and recording all these moments. You’ll look back in years and thank yourself - but never be afraid to take time out for yourself and your ponies! Thank you again for creating the content we all love and so many more will love as soon as they find you! (Plus I need more videos so I can binge watch 😂) xx
You have the best channel, Meg! Keep up the awesome work with Efa. She’ll make a great child’s pony one day. I totally get the feeling @27:53. My horse alwaysss rolls and baths are useless.
Legend Equestrian I’m the same but instead I think we did well, I’m always proud of my girly and then I find out we came last, then again the shows aren’t affiliated, they’re just stable ones. They always cheat😂🙄❤️
Well done Meg, Efa is an adorable pony, I know that she is not very big but she carry’s you very well and looked really good.Efa will get better and better as she gets more training, but look she just won her very first event and that is wonderful. That all has to do with your consistent training of her, your patience with her and her ability to be willing to learn from you. I am really looking forward to the next video of you and Efa competing again together. Take Care, Jane 🐴🐎😎👍🧑🏻🦰
Efa looks very fit and her coat is so shiny, I bet she was so glad to get home, Very good event Meg everything went so well I thought, she came home sound and happy which personally Imthink is the most important thing and you and your Mum were very pleased with the results. Looking for the ext video. Jane 🐴🐎😎👍🧑🏻🦰
glad that this video was in my recommended tab! The bugs and flies were terrible when I did my lesson on Wednesday. It seems like it's going to be a really hot summer. I really love how you have horseboxes in the UK. My dream is to have one of those one day for transport. Efa looks so cute all dolled up and ready for her first event! She did so well, well done to the both of you! She looked lovely for all three stages.
Efa is a brilliant pony. Absolutely gorgeous. I watched your video of her first dressage competition amazing well done for coming 3rd and also her jumping one. You did great. Can’t wait to see her future if she did get sold to a blogger.
That's sweet of you, thank you. It's been a few years now. Jasper was a huge part of my life and we made many memories that are very special. I was given one amazing piece of advice by an elderly lady I met when out riding, ' Make the most of every moment with him because it will go too fast.' And we did. I was very lucky to have him in my life. :-)
I notice you do not use any protection on your pony's legs? Why? Here - in the Netherlands - it is recommended to use protectors on all 4 legs as well as hoof protection!
If I ever cross the pond, I’d love to come ride with you. My pony is still learning, and I’m relearning some things. Would be a fun time either way. The horse flys have been so bad this year. My legs are a mess from bites.
Efa is going to make the best kids eventing pony, total superstar winning all her three firsts (1st dressage test/1st showjumping round/1st eventing start)!!

I would like a pony like that for myself. (Says the woman in Australia who owns a behemoth of a horse.) Efa is going to have wide market appeal. Quite a few adults are going to want her for themselves. Plus of course the pony eventing market.
im from America, so im curious do ponies get their own classes? here theyre all mixed horse wise like a 14hh pony and a 18hh horse could be in the same height class

Meg: “well EFA we won!!!”. EFA: “Wait what?” (Head lifts in shock, mouth full of grass)... “this wasn’t an open buffet and play date?”
Two minutes into the Vlog , and Meg already has to tell her mum to behave 😂
