    Ashley, your husband is such a fantastic partner. He seems so supportive and positive. Watching him be there for you is almost as entertaining as watching you compete. You're so lucky to have such a nice support system.

    "Well done. Smashed it." How wonderful it is to have a partner who is so supportive. And Kayto was wonderful. It was hot mom! Don't know what the craziness is with show jumping. He's scopey and a lovely jumper. He's not afraid. Maybe that's part of it. These are little fences, Mom! Show me the big CC "efforts!"

    I tend to ride forward fast horses backwards so I've spent the summer riding forward in the fields and really sitting up and steering around. Almost cross country style working in a dressage saddle. It was dicey at first but I really noticed my confidence grew working without a wall or rail.

    Well done Ash. I thought he looked a little tired in the showjumping, he didn’t seem to pick his back feet us much as usual, perhaps it was the hot weather. You can get cool coats for dog's. I use them on my dachshunds. Especially my black and tans.
    I love how supportive Scott is. ❤

    BELLA NEEDS TO GET HERSELF A SWAMP COOLER COAT. MY GANG REALLY APPRECIATE THEIRS, WHEN WE'RE TRYING TO KEEP FIT, IN THE BRUTAL CALIFORNIA SUMMERS.
    WE HAVE ONE, FROM RUFF WEAR; ONE, FROM ULTRA PAWS; AND ONE, FROM CHEWY. THEY ALL WORK REALLY WELL, AS LONG, AS, IT'S NOT VERY HUMID. SINCE, WE ARE QUITE DRY, I DO HAVE TO POUR A LITTLE WATER DOWN THEIR BACKS, FROM TIME TO TIME.
    FOR LITTLE BLACK BELLA, SHE WOULD 100% APPRECIATE SOMETHING A BIT REFLECTIVE, OVER HER BACK.
    AS ALWAYS, LOVED YOUR CHARMING VIDEO.
    ❤❤❤
    THE ASPHALT WARRIORS

    • @margauxnodvin7478
      @margauxnodvin7478 Год назад +2

      I have one of those for my black senior dog, but they only work if the weather isn’t humid. So I have another vest that has inserts for ice packs around the neck, belly, and chest (where they get the hottest). That one helps no matter the humidity!

    • @susanmiller7472
      @susanmiller7472 Год назад +1

      @@margauxnodvin7478 YES. I DID MENTION THE HUMIDITY ISSUE. NOT SURE, WHAT IT'S LIKE, WHERE BELLA LIVES. THE ULTRA PAWS COAT DOES HAVE LITTLE POCKETS, FOR TINY ICE PACKS, AND, IT HAS AN ELASTIC DRAWSTRING, AT THE NECK, WHICH CAN HOLD THE COAT UP, HIGHER, ON THE NECK. ALL THREE COATS COVER THE CHEST AND BELLY, AND ALLOW VERY GOOD AIRFLOW, FOR EVAPORATIVE COOLING.
      MY PERSONAL EXPERIMENTATION, HAS LEAD ME TO WEAR MORE SHINY METALLICS, IN THE SUMMER. I WAS AMAZED, AT HOW MUCH COOLER, A METALLIC "MERMAID SCALE" LYCRA FABRIC WAS, COMPARED TO A BASIC T-SHIRT, AND SHORTS. THE SHINY FABRIC REFLECTS THE SUN'S RAYS, INSTEAD OF ABSORBING THE HEAT. THE METALLIC FABRIC SEEMS TO REPEL DIRT, AS WELL, WHICH IS HELPFUL WHEN HANDLING ANIMALS.
      BEST WISHES, TO ALL.

    You and Kato looked so amazing on the cross country. You mentioned it’s Kato’s favorite phase and several other event vloggers I watch say the same. Any theories as to why the horses love cross country so much?
