"Revolution isnt sexy. Its not about having a beret and running around the jungle with a gun. You gotta get your hands dirty and help people." - Immortal Technique.
You really gonna listen to this communist fool? Do you have any idea what communists do to those who don't fall in line? Are you really on with that?
Best quote I've heard from him, thus far
On God, Immortal Technique's the only rapper alive I could actually listen to brag. He's not boasting about women and chains. The man's boasting about helping communities and fostering change.
Dropped your own technique impression here👏🏿
He needs his own podcast. Very well spoken and keeps you interested the whole time
he has insta where he randomly talks bout topics for 45mins
Tech Tuesdays on his Instagram. Short 30 to 45 min bites of him speaking major facts.
He need to do that!
Had the absolute honor of working with Tech in my community distributing food and hygiene products to the seniors and their families at the local community center in East Harlem‼️ Been listening to him since I was in middle school and he is apart of the reason I wanted to be the change I wanted to see in the world.
❤
🙏🤝🙌
Word! Nice to hear
based. cant believe i listend to him almost 20 years ago!"
Imagine doing two official projects 20 years ago and being able to tour as a rapper with no new songs that shit is amazing.
In 2003 at 23 I was working as a janitor my boss was from Afghanistan and on the drive between jobsites we would smoke his homemade hashish and listen to revolutionary volume two.. it was interesting times I learned a lot
I love immortal technique. He has such a beautiful mind. I’ve been listening to him for years …. And I still learn something new every time I hear him speak wisdom.
Always enjoy listening to immortals interviews. He’s a great combination of a revolutionary and an intellectual.
@@AmericanNope 🎯🎯🎯
This hour interview went by so fast! we need like 3 hours of Immortal Technique! thanks for having him on my dude!
Facts
few years ago he was on joe rogan, more content there
@@Hectik17 he was on JRE like 4 times I think but hasnt been on in like 5 years or more i think. He needs to be back and drop THE MIDDLE PASSAGE
Exactly this
Fr I could listen to this guy talk for days.
“You never know” was such a classic for me. Got me threw some broken hearts. This interview should have been 3x longer. Thank you for this Gem Kev.
Thanks for reminding me about that song. If I remember correctly, it was the closing song on RV2. Gonna go back and listen.
We all really go through the same thing fr fr
That song is beautiful bro. One of the few that can make me cry when i hear it.
That song and leaving the past are two of my all time favorite songs. Such perfect execution and timeless till this day.
His music changed my life. His music made me question things. His music made me more conscious to things like politics, global warming, colonization, and police corruption. His music is the single most influential thing in my life outside of my family. Thank you.
dat part 〽️
Me too, he was talking about how corrupt the government is but he still wants the same government to be in control of our healthcare and wants to increase taxes. Give the same racist, corrupt government more money! 😂😂😂
I really feel that. I stumbled on his music at a very young age and my parents always frowned on rap. Though I knew from the moment I heard his flow, he was different. He was talking about the truth.
It’s amazing to see Tech given so much of his due. Revolutionary 1 and 2 got me into hip hop and let me explore all the sub genres as a teen in early 2000s. It’s incredible that he essentially has 3 albums that established him as a rapper and used that as a platform to do everything his music was about and did it in a ground level. Dude was ahead decades before and is still as important as ever to speak
Likewise I saw him as a special guest at rock the bells maybe 03,04 man blew my mind but I loved this cat his music always touched my soul he would get annoying and legit just talk shit about politics at some of his solo shows as a teen I just wanted to listen to music u know lol but good times
when interviewers rush to finish their guests sentence, won’t let their guest land their point. This is a professional conversation let’s please keep it all uniform
Tech is a LEGEND.. One of the greatest rappers/lyricists of ALL TIME… His music is powerful like his energy.
I know all your songs word for word bro..
But this decade alone has changed so much and with the current culture/media, that if he made music like he did in past then they would try and silence him..
Legend.
Deep respect, and infinite blessings to Immortal Technique
We need more tech interviews 3 hours long. He’s so well spoken.
I listened to this dude more than anyone else from 2005-2008.
I bet I still could rap nearly every word to every song on Revolutionary 1 and 2
"on top of that they still want to take me to prison, just cuz i won't trade humanity for patriotism" - Immortal Technique
immortal technique needs to be a college professor who speaks so well and knows so much. We need to protect him
Immortal Technique is the man of the god!
This dude (alongside with hardcore bands I used to listen as a kid) opened my eyes to many things. I remember he got me into reading about global politics and things. Nowadays I think I'm a bit critical of reality around me thanks to guys like these.
LEGENDARY!
Starting to think YT is holding this channel down.
Should have way more subs/views.
You've been on fire for a long time KEV!
RESPECT!
My older cousin introduced me to Immortal Technique on a snowboarding trip when I was in 6th grade 20 years ago. RIP cuzzo. This is a good interview.
He was a goat bro
Legendary lyricist! One of the best of all time!
Immortal Technique your a prime example. Thank you!
We need Technique to release a new album
Facts facts like Nas
Literally been waiting on the Middle Passage since I was like in 8th grade....I'm frikin 25 now lol..
I'm with you on thats, in fact, we need like a double album.....
@@gratus0824 stop
@@oiitzME1266 Same here lol
I respect anyone who interviews This man
Man Tech is the fucking man. When I was a kid hearing rev vol 1 and 2 definitely opened a lot of mental doors for me. A lot of respect and gratitude 🙏
One of the greats. I’ve seen him many times and I’ve met him a couple of times. You will always learn something and be entertained when it comes to Tech, whether it’s the music or his speeches.
Also RIP PH, another great MC. That shirt Tech has on is dope.
D12World
i need like a 15 book must read list from technique, dude is so damn knowledgeable on so many subjects.
One of the greatest rappers ever. As a young Latino, Tech taught me how to think and made me question EVERYTHING as a kid. I just hope we get to hear the Middle Passage before it’s all over.
Techniques is a shining example of what to do to give back lead by example salute to you sir
Very cool to see resurgence of immortal technique interviews and I hope that he finally drops the album! We definitely need more outspoken rappers in the game currently.
Brooo..I remember listening to this guy a decade ago! He's got bars!
Try 2 decades 😎
Yo praise Jesus for this link popping up!!!!! Been praying night n day for more faith and hope and The Good Lord blessed me BIG w this!!!!! 50yrs old, newer St (7yrs) and face like flint but need more defined purpose and examples of how to move, speak and hear in obedience to the Word of God in all things.
May God Bless All the Works of your Hands!!!!! Amazing Grace…….I love you!!!!
OG IMMORTAL TECHNIQUE#1 LEGENDARY LEGEND!
It doesn’t surprise me that they wanted him as a teacher. Dude is smart asf!
Been waiting to see immortal again been a fan for 10+ years. It's a real loss to the game that he has really put out any music because the rap world can really use someone like him rn!
This is a true legend of the game. and not just for being an OG and one of the most prolific independent rap artists of all time, but because he is a stand up guy who stands on his morals and convictions and won’t take the bullshit that is fed to us all daily. This is a man you kids should emulate, not the Smoke Pumps and lil xan’s of the world.
I love tech but "one of the most prolific" of all time? He's dropped like 3 albums in 20 years
GOOD TO SEE IMMORTAL MAKING HIS ROUNDS… HE’S DEFINITELY DROPPIN THE MIDDLE PASSAGE SOON
I remember playing “dance with the devil” when I was 13 years old, this man is a legend
First time finding out you can put a hidden track in a track ? Lol
So glad to see and hear this one. A true underground hip hop legend. Real lyrical genius. Got to meet him too for a few minutes back in the day when stronghold was putting on a showcase at the knitting factory.
Brooooo I've been waiting for more knowledge since Immortal dropped The Martyr!!!! Is it the middle passage???!! Immortal Technique is a true legend 🙌
So much respect for him. Feeling lucky I was able to obtain his album the 3rd world from him ten years ago while living in Europe.
I could listen to Tech speak for hours
Him and Lowkey made some great music that was straight up educational.
Use to literally study videos of this man breaking down his rhyme schemes and patterns. I applied what he taught me to write the way I write lyrics to my R&B songs to this day.
This is truly monumental. 🙆🏿♂️
man i'm 12 mins in and this interview is making me tear up, he's a smart, genuine guy and the world needs more people like him and thanks to his actions we'll get em. Great interview so far and i'm excited to watch the rest.
Just finished the episode and couldn't be more impressed. Great flow between Kev and Immortal, the subject matter was on point and goddamn smart, well worded answers. I really enjoyed this conversation, it was definitely worth the time.
Love Immortal. I have had the honor of producing many shows with him in LA California. Much love and respect.
Immortal technique is most underrated real hip hop!!! I miss his music!!
I love that Tech is still relevant, an OG pioneer in the game
Love the closing words about your album, Tech. Can't wait for The Middle Passage.
Its been too long.
And we need you to come to Australia, Tech. The working class, the aboriginal nations, the youth really need you here, brother.
True story, I was in high school and a friend let me borrow his iPod for a couple weeks, dance with the devil was one of the songs already downloaded, one day I was on the bus heading home and I had the iPod on shuffle. This song started playing and as the song played I became more and more intrigued. I paid attention to every verse/word and I can honestly say it made me think twice about entering that world. Straight and narrow for me, I couldn’t live with myself.
That story about the dude living in the underground subway getting ready for work to get his family out of the struggle hit me hard. Tripped me out that the interviewer jumped to a whole diff subject like he didn’t really get it
Tech is a true blessing
I was just showing Technique to an 18 Yr old yesterday. I showed him point of no return. He said it sounds like he wrote it today
I subscribe to you just off of a clip and that was Immortal Technique clip I want to thank you for bringing light to this brother he's been talking and standing up for all walks of life when it comes to the struggle
He’s a living legend we lucky we got this man
KEV gotta let the man speak. Specially such a great story teller like Immortal Technique. KEV needs to learn to listen.
Was very relieved when he said he never did those things, also big ups to you Immortal. What a fucking prophet
Such a great guy so much respect to technique as someone who is struggling myself hope he keeps doing what he is doing, also love his music
I’ve been needing a new immortal technique interview, real speaker🗣💪🏼
That last sentence it was a bar! He said "don't worry you'll hand them the planet"
Theres things i learnt from tech's music that i still remember till this day, the epitome of message music
Few voices in hip hop, and society itself, are as relevant or important as Immortal Technique's. Don't sleep on true wisdom built upon real life experience and understanding.
Thank you for leading us in the real revolution Felipe!
Much respect!
Immortal Technique when are you going to bless us with a new album? Your needed in hip hop. Would like to see you and Nas collaborate.
Technique and Rage Against the Machine changed my life.🙌🏽
Surprised they haven't done collaboration
RATM use to be badass but now 🤮
How so?
More like Rage for the Machine
I listen to rage songs in disgust now. total sell outs 😂
Immortal Technique is definitely awake. It’s so great to see artist that aren’t brainwashed and pushing all of the elitist one world government, Chinese social credit system b.s. So happy he addressed Dance with the Devil. I just heard it. It was quite intense. People really didn’t know what to think about the ending. Am really glad he cleared it up. I’m a MAGA republican. I really like this guy
Thank you Tech ✊🏽🏴☠️🔥
Immortal Technique is my teacher.
I credit this man for sparking my interest into my journey of self discovery.
Native Pride 🪶 🪨 🔥
Oxnard in the house. That’s crazy ! What a small world
Immortal technique needed more than one hour on the Podcast that shit was fuckin dope man I can't wait til the new album, I got to see him s.d.and Back to basics about 5 years ago or so, keep doing ur thing man 👍
Sweet! Always great to hear from Immortal Technique! Always feel more educated when I hear him!
Hearing him as a teenager I already knew about a lot of the stuff he talked about but just hearing him say it was validating enough for me.
Would love to see Tech do more interviews on VladTV again! I forgot how much I love listening to him speak
Woooow, bootleg kev just don’t stop with the great guests, goddamn
"'Both sides are corrupt' no thats the position you should have started from not the position you retreat to"
This guy is just spitting fact after fact.
New immortal technique footage is amazing thank you for this 🙏🏼
This interview I believe everyone should see
Every single record on Revolutionary vol.2 is a banger
Beautiful.
So glad you brought up that Senator that died in his plane crash, I thought I was the only one that noticed for a long time
"Eyes In The Sky" is my favorite Immortal Technique song.
Yo this hispanic brother putting it down for the world not just his race.
A lot of wisdoms in this interview kev👏👏👏
Respect for this artist checking the host on his COVID nonsense and calling him a shock jock.
One of a kind he truly has a pure soul
One of the greatest minds in hip hop
Immortal technique turned listeners into scholars
Immortal Technique is a real one!
Couldn't stop listening to him once I heard him on blood and ashes album from outerspace
SHOUT OUT to O G Immortal!!!! The Realest Legend From The Old School!!!
Immortal Technique is the best ever.
Thank you for having Immortal Technique on the show. I always like hearing him speak. Im no fanboy. And i don't have "heroes", persé. But Tech is hands down my favourite rapper, next to Sage Francis, KRS-ONE, Chuck D, Supernatural, Ladybug Mecca, Jean Grey and the great, Sampa The Great.
Best part about dance with the dance with the devil is the sample is from "Love Story"
always thankful to hear from IT
Hell yeah . Bringing the right ones !
Empires don’t die because they lose a war, they die because people stop believing in them
Damn that’s a bar. May Allah continue to bless brotha Immortal 💯🤲🏾
Immortal technique and K-Rino need to get on a track together
Yes ! And I think R.A. The Rugged Man will be on a track with the Wizard & Tech for the trifecta effect, if I'm not mistaken .
