OnTrack Karting Wallingford, CT 2-6-19 League Race 'A' Main ***THIS WAS SOME RACE***

So this was an amazing night for me from qualifying to the feature race! I pretty much had great karts the whole night the provided me with exciting racing from start to finish. In the three lap qualifier I pulled down the fastest lap to start 1st in the 17 lap race for position for the feature race. Now unfortunately for the position race I finished second to NASTY because I was battling with cold tires that cooled off during formation and couldn't get the darn kart to turn for a lap and a half, but it was a great battle with NASTY to the finish and with me finishing second to him that meant I would third at the lowest for the feature race. Now check this...the kart I ran in the position race(#10), I ran a 36.835, and my teammate HIXSON ran a 36.9 who is actually faster than me on most days, so I'm pretty proud that I beat him in the same kart lol! Now the feature race I drew the #8 kart which I have not driven in quite some time so I was a little bit worried to say the least of how I was going to perform in this feature race. So as I said I started 3rd with NASTY starting 1st and HIXSON 2nd on the front row, and lucky for me I was starting on the inside row so I immediately had a chance to make up a position and hold it if everything went right, and let me just say I ran the fastest lap of the race and night at a 36.635. With the battling between NASTY and HIXSON and my battles behind them the race finish was quite exciting! So with that said Thanks for watching and Enjoy!!

You snuck up on Joe and I. I wasn’t expecting that pass at all cause I was so focused on slowly catching joe to pass him I didn’t realize you were making ground on us as well. It was a fun race.

Yeah that #8 kart is still fast, I was worried before the race because a newbie had it and I have not driven that kart in months, but y'all battling have me that chance to catch you two lol! Definitely a fun race!
