10 of the world's best windsurfers from eight countries completed a demanding competition in Kerry, Ireland during the first mission of the Red Bull Storm Chase - the most-challenging windsurfing contest of all time.
Despite recorded storm-force gusts of up to 74 knots (137kmh) and fierce 20-ft waves, the sailors completed three rounds of competition in two locations on the Maharees peninsular.
After possibly the most radical day in windsurfing history, Marcilio Browne, Dany Bruch, Victor Fernandez, Robby Swift, Julien Taboulet and Thomas Traversa advance to Mission 2 of Red Bull Storm Chase.

I just love this clip. Just went windsurfing today in 7 bft (30knts) and 3 degrees celcius which is about the same temperature but about half🤣 the windspeed, I really can't imaginge going out in 70 knots wind
i experienced 35knots in alacati turkey last year. it was 42-43 knots in windgusts. but 70 knots? this guys have really big balls. respect!

Se que el día 22 vendriais a galicia pero la borrasca alfinal entro el 21 , yo iva a ir a veros y es una pena que no hayais podido venir.
Quiero deciros que admiro lo que haceis y que algun día me gustaria llegar a ese nivel.

On voit rarement des planches dans une mer dechiree comme celle la non plus. Les 2 spots sont cool, et peu d'athlete sont capable d'atteindre un tel niveau!
