I also like the juxtaposition oh Hobi’s more “hopeful” lyrics and Cole’s more grungy ones, while relaying the same message. Very cool contrast. This contrast was further highlighted with Hobi being on the streets and on the subway (down below) while Cole is on the roof top (up above) in the video. This further creates a contrast between Hobi’s positive, or elevated, message and Cole’s lyrics that are more grounded overall but still forward looking in comparison to where they are in the video. Its like they represent two different paths leading to the same outcome or goal, represented by them eventually meeting and hugging it out. Very cool!
