Hey, HEY! Ok, so FAUX SHIPLAP it is! I'm going to be showing how you can get the shiplap look using TAPE! This is such a quick and easy DIY to do and it will totally transform any space. I love, love how this turned out and I hope you will too.
This is a very inexpensive DIY and a renter friendly one as well! I really hope you try this out and if you do don't be shy tag me or send me a pic on Instagram!

This is a GREAT idea for someone who is renting! I don't think I would do this in my own home since I think real wood would look more authentic, but for someone who wants a quick decoration or who can't make any permanent changes to their place, I think it's a great idea. Thanks for sharing!

Your wall looks absolutely beautiful! I'm getting ready to do this but I was only able to find the tape that seems kind of shiny rather than matte black. Have you found that the shiny is hard to see once it all gets installed and the decor put up? Or should I search more for a more black matte finish tape?
