Jewel i don’t know if you actually read the comments on these videoes but i want to thank you from my heart i am now 57 years old and i went through a really tough period in life during the 1990s a divorce that made me a single Dad and my oldest daughter was a teenager in high school but thankfully we bonded. together because of your music and more specifically this song i learned to play it on my Acoustic and it magically made me Cool which is a major accomplishment for a Father of a Teenage girl luckily the generation of that time did have a lot of good musical Artists and that helped solidify a bonding experience during that time i personally love the Bare NakedLadies and my Daughter either read or watched a interveiw that had them saying their influences were music like the Eagles ,James Taylor , and Jimmy Buffett which were all the artists my daughter grew up hearing me play in our home and on Vacations ! that daughter is now grown up and married with her own family now and myself i suffered some Traumatic BrainInjuries along my way but thankfully that daughter loves and cares for me so much. that her and her two children just Rock my World on a regular basis ! Before my satphone broke down, media stories of 9/11, US entering Afghanistan, viruses was mailed by post randomly was the only scare news I got, and then my sat phone broke. The current pushed the boat backwards, food and water was running out, there was a minor leakage/hull damage I could not find to repair... I was listening to Jewel on my minidisc-player looking at the night time stars, battling storms and fatigue and felt I might have been at the safest spot on earth at the time. That’s Jewels impact. Still a fan.

I was around 7 when this song released. I can still remember watching her music video on mtv while I’d eat my breakfast before school. Listening to it almost 25 years later makes you reflect on your life in a strange way. Jewel is a beauty. She’s even more lovely now than ever.
