The fact you pick everything up and are always over encumbered was killing me. But then I realized that if you listen to the story and don't sprint everywhere it doesn't effect you as much. Really glad you are enjoying it so much. I'm going to change my way of playing to be a bit slower after watching this.
I'm a filthy hoarder okay! Sarah was carrying too much gear as well. I sold after this mission though, don't worry 😂

I have close to 48 hours played and I just now completed the first quest for constellation. Honestly it’s only because I got tired of seeing “Talk to Sarah” in my quest list 🤣

I'm playing this game my own way and having a blast.
So far 15 hours in and level 11 and have not even touched the main story yet, planet explorig and random encounters in space and on planets have kept me engaged and i don't see me touching the story anytime soon.

Get to and finish into the unknown main quest. Pretty large part of the game mechanics are unlocked during that. Then do whatever you want. I did that mission after like 40 hours and was dumbfounded on how much of this game I may not even have access to yet that I didn't know about.
Starfield is definitely a game that continues to get better and better, the more time you put into it. I was fairly disappointed by around 25-30hrs in, but am absolutely loving it now at 60hrs, and I’ve still barely started the main quest line.
Me too, was a bit disappointed at first, especially the loadingScreens and the fact u can’t seamless travel, yes no seamless travel still sucks hard , but I’m glad in didn’t stop playing, after around 10hours the fun kick in, more and more 👍

I'm finding that a hard concept to grasp. can you explain why a game gets better after 50 hours or so, but not at 30 hours? i've never encountered that in my life of gaming since the early 1990s. not looking for an argument, genuinely keen to buy the game but waiting on a pc upgrade. tks

i just completed this mission before watching. i was about to quit on this game until i started doing these crazy side missions and this is one of them. i'm now 60 hours in just doing side missions and there's a ton of crazy stuff that i experienced already and now i'm hooked. glad you're enjoying the game as well. btw i also noticed how differently you completed this mission as a whole. i was able to meet up with vae victus in secret and undercover and it totally changed all the dialogue here.

As i started the game I was disappointed, no real OpenWorld and endless loadingScreens, no seamless traveling…but I didn’t gave up, and I’m so glad I was playing further, like u say, the game keeps getting better and better, around 10hours I was finally in, there are so many cool features, little things like the fact ur Parents looks similar to ur self (if u choose the ParentsPerk) and yes no OpenWorld but many planets are still huge and fun to explore. So I’m glad I didn’t stop playing, it’s really worth 👍
Its so weird like that. All the negatives hit you at once but then its just a beautiful, gradual build to a dope game with all the little touches of cool things everywhere. Its definitely fun

The only loading screens that really bother me is the ones for travelling between planets within the same system. I was hovering above earth last night and wanted to visit the moon, i would’ve loved to be able to go there seamlessly and just chill inside my ship for a few minutes until we arrive. Instead I had get the menu up yet again then click on the moon to fast travel there…it just sucks. Yeah the loading screen lasts a few seconds but I’d happily wait for a few minutes while I travel there seamlessly and watch the stars zoom past me while talking to companions or sorting through my inventory. If you don’t want to wait that long then by all means hit the fast travel button to have a loading screen instead, a bit like on GTA when you skip the taxi ride instead of sitting through it. It doesn’t feel like I’m travelling anywhere on this game, there’s zero sense of time and distance. So underwhelming
@@chrisstucker1813 exactly, the loading screens suck cuz they are so many, but ur right, the non existent feel of traveling is much worst. And from a technical Standart i don’t understand, it would be possible to make seamless travel, maybe not for 1000planets, but who needs that 1000…for me that’s just lazy or wrong Design decisions.
But how I said, the game is much more then just those bothering things. Only all the good stuff and real fun comes a bit slowely. Anyway, I have still more fun with the game Form each hour now 👍
@ like I said, I don’t mind most loading screens but if I’m in earth’s solar system, I would love to be able to seamlessly travel to other planets and moons in the same system. If want to land on any of those planets then I don’t mind the loading screen, it’s just having to fast travel to the planet and then fast travel again down to the surface that sucks.
Played 10+ hours on my first set of days off work and bloody loving it. Perfect blend of Skyrim and Mass Effect! Like the Outer Worlds, but bigger and better.

Who knew that they would do fallout better and Bethesda would make a better outer worlds lol.

I loved this side quest line and some of the twists it had. Also interesting seeing the different choices that you made from my own.
I'm so hooked on this game 😭😭 lol I'm only level 25 though. Remember, ammo has ZERO mass so you can carry as much as you want!

The side quest from factions are quite good tbh! I'm satisfied with the Vanguard faction quest, and it doesn't end there! You still have the other one, it involves the Crimson Fleet!!
I am currently doing that side quest at the moment, it is just as good as the terrormorph arc! This one you'll be doing some undercover mission to spy on the Crimson Fleet!! This you have to join those pirates 😂

The random pop-up quests
in space and on planets are pretty damn good too. Some of them are hilarious and some are serious I'm surprised by how many there is. Anyone else have the party ship hit you up in space yet to come over to the party lol or the lonely Grandma inviting you on her ship.
The Crimson fleet faction quest was amazing!

I have well over 100 hours and counting in starfield I highly suggest to keep playing it keeps getting better, if you enjoy getting lost in some amazing space story quests it's unbelievable.

@matiasvaisanen8359 I haven't had any issues or problems, I have 138 hours into the game. Working on playing threw my second full play threw, I absolutely love the game and everything it had to offer.

@@TB-wvvvw I'm glad people are enjoying it. But these quests are certainly not "great" lol. They are incredibly generic fetch quests for the most part with poor writing.
"Varuun Litany" is the the ship i stole at the beginning too lol 😂 I've used it all the way through until i needed a longer range ship to finish the main story.
That was so cool to see you steal that ship and all the quest look so good and seems like this is a game not to rush, my pc is not good enough but upgrading by the end of the year, so still excited to play.

Did you pick up Orlase's Lab Coat? It has a special perk where if you craft weapon mods it sometimes doesn't use mats.

FYI the armory in the base with the terramorph quest is at. The guy in the back will sell a purple smg, one of the best guns in the game.

You missed the bedroom in the penthouse. It's at the back of the apartment and overlooks the city and has it's own balcony
If you've not done so already, if you kill spacers you'll eventually find a note that directs you to a secret outpost - this gives you some incredible legendary gear (full armor set) as well as a pretty dang good ship that's miles better than the starter ship - Also, think you missed out on picking up a set of legendary gear that you get from this mission

@@joshuapowell2516 If your character is still low level and he is talking about the Mantis gear and ship, i would consider leveling up a tad more or at least taking grip of med paks and heart . Wave after wave of spacers to kill and robots too. Do a save before going in. and GL !
@2wheel_freedom cheers for the tip man I got to level 11 and done it last night I had a smg that ripped through the level 30 enemies my only issue was when I got the new ship and went to the atmosphere I had to fight 2 level 30 mercenaries in ship combat which wasn't fun but I discovered I could just jump to another planet mid fight lol
They need to create a story line involving a Black Hole, building a ship that can withsttand the pressures of traveling through one, and seeing what the other side looks like. Lolol

Fps and graphics issues aside, this game is amazing and I can’t stop playing it
fps is not that bad i tell people if they think fps is bad try redfall then youll really see its bad
The new update today really seemed to help my FPS and stability. Feels a lot smoother.
What graphic issues are there?
@@justryan6480 it was just my 3060 laptop seems to be better optimised now. New Atlantis used to run a bit laggy before. It overall seams more snappy
@@justryan6480 well it may just be personal opinion, but the blacks are raised and have some issues. and some places don’t look super great but I know it’s not the most insane engine. I absolutely love the game though

I came up on a red terramorph that tried messing with my mind. It was trippy!!
Give your favorite gun to Sarah and 1 40XL ammo, and then equip that weapon for her. She will use that as her main weapon, with unlimited ammo and do massive dmg
Dude, the sidequests of starfield are some of the most interesting that Bethesda have done on their videogames.
Terromorphs, crimson fleet, ryujinx, etc.

I just don't feel like I ever get hit because the AI are easy to manage so its not something I keep on top of all of the time. It's also hard to tell when you've actually been injured unless you're watching your health bar constantly 😅

Hey Tom do you have any mods on? Spacesuit wise, my Hadrian had like a visor like the Xenowarfare helmet they give you, but yours had a different one, same with the admiral
I just got the Star Eagle ship from being a Freestar ranger. That is a great ship. Fully loaded with great shields and weapons. Better than the ShieldBreaker I also have.
Can you use the cutter on terranorphs to get rid of their rock shells?

Ngl, I figured out the terrormorph story during my encounter on Kreet in the beginning of my travels with Vasco. If you wander around the research facility you can find evidence of the capture and escape of a terrormorph. Very cool storyline.
But how could no one know the growth cycle of heat leeches? Surely they would have been extensively studied by scientists due to their problematic pest like nature?
@@ProjectMoff This was just speculation that I faced through my first hours with Vasco. It’s classic Bethesda storytelling. They always leave little breadcrumbs of information to follow

You have to do the side quest Mantis!! You get a full set of yellow gear and bad ass Yellow shot blast gun that in this video you say is your favorite. Oh and you get a ship too!
if this is indicative of the general quality of side quests i’m thoroughly intrigued, but also even more perplexed by the lack of communication about it from official sources
so i’ll say it again: Bethesda should be paying Tomographic
Side quests in this game, especially the UC faction, are amazing. I’ve heard good thing about Ryiujin, too. The Freestar one is good but not as compelling as UC IMO.

For some reason I can't find this mission. I'm level 42, probably near 100 hours played, and I did the first part of this mission when you fight the terramorphs in New Atlantis, but after seeing this video, I wanted to do this part as well, but I can't find it. I have no UC Vanguard missions in my list.
