- For many people, the concept of self-love is an overblown theory and they often ignore its importance. People aspire to be perfect and perfectionism is considered a greater asset or attribute than self-love. When we talk about self-love, it is easy to picture someone reading self-help books or hugging a tree; but self-love is much more than that. A lot of studies have shown that self-love is the key to mental wellbeing and it keeps depression and anxiety at bay.
When people start to love themselves more each day, it’s amazing how their lives get better. They feel better, Their relationships either improve, or the negative ones dissolve and new ones begin , Your relationship with yourself is the most important and longest relationship you’ll ever have. you have to spending some time and put some effort everyday to develop a more loving relationship with yourself.
It’s time to start caring for yourself and treating yourself with the same love that you give to others. Loving yourself isn’t selfish, as many fear. Not only does it improve your relationship with yourself, but it shows others how to love you.

At 25 I've accomplished everything I thought I was supposed to do: finish high school, get a degree, get a job, buy a house; Truly, no amount of material possessions will fill that void building inside of you. Only now have I started the journey to forgiving myself. We need to love ourselves before we can truly create/share love with each other. Be kind to yourselves people.

I left a toxic relationship and it hurts but I am glad I did and I know I gave myself to that person but she decided not to care, it’s time to love myself and fall In love all over again with me ❤️

It hurt like hell and I'm STILL healing but I chose myself and this time I'm going to treat myself like I treat the people I love. I'm going to celebrate me. I'm going to support me. I'm going to invest in me I'm going to give me time to KNOW me and LOVE me the way I came into the world, and discover who I am supposed to be outside of everyone's opinions of what I should be for them to be comfortable, accept, like, love, respect ... me. I just started digging into who I am as a person and excepting myself. I used to be scared to be myself. Now I slowly don’t care. Some days are rough but I will push through it! I will not let my own self be in the way of what god made for me.
Im 29 have a wife have children, Ive spent past 10 years in the military I've been so successful and done great and amazing things. I've also done bad I've done bad in my marriage as a husband and a father, my self love, my confidence, my worth has felt non existent so long I don't know who I am anymore. I've never been able to forgive myself until now and God it feels so good I've cried for like an hour now bc it's been so long that I could just let go and forgive myself.

Self-love is everything 😍 its time to step out and give yourself some love. It was hard for to reach this level were I can just love myself, the rejection I went through in my childhood distorted that love for myself. When you love yourself you begin to even see how valuable you are.

I have been abandoned by alot of people I thought loved me. Including my parents, 2 ex-husbands, my children, and family members because I wasn't good enough. Or perfect. I suffer with mental illness and it's hard to deal with so much rejection. It makes my bipolar worse. And my self worth is sooooo low. I have been depressed and lost most of my life. Good thing I have God

My dearest I have been in the same place but the assurance I have in God keeps me going. I accepted that I was depressed then determined to get out of it. Let go of your self and let God's will to take over. I simply say in every situation "let you will be done" no matter how trivial. Then consciously do so it's hard but possible. I also self referred my self for counselling (there are loads of charities and colleges who offer free or low fee)as the sessions helped we see where and what I can achieve. It's not easy but take a day at a time each task at a time. Stay blessed and remember that that you are beautifully made and have it within you. I am here if you need to chat. Ps I also say that "I am not normal but Extraordinary" so I can fix into boxes made by people.
