Thumbnails Not Showing in windows 7, 8, 8.1 or 10
Today we are going to see how to resolve the issue where you cannot see the thumbnail preview of images.
Despite choosing the option “Large Icons” from View, we cannot see the thumbnail preview for any images.
So all you need to do is to follow these simple steps.
 Go to start menu and select file explorer.
 Select View tab from the top and then click on “Options”
 Now in the new pop up named “Folder Options”, go to “View” tab.
 Make sure that this option which says “Always show icons, never thumbnails” is unchecked.
If that option is checked then the thumbnail preview for images are not available.

Try checking for any viruses, corrupted files, unwanted files, etc

I found a fix.
It didn't work until I set my laptop back to factory settings (Which was fine as it was a fairly new laptop)
This method does work after that though so that's the solution

@EWP Actually I found a solution. You can download this sourceforge.net/projects/sagethumbs/files/latest/download and the program will fix the problem with just one click. Don't know if you tried it before you set your laptop to factory settings.

If your photos are in a zipped folder, this method won't work. You have to extract your photos from the zipped folder to a new folder.

I follow you guidelines, but still I have the same problem. When I copy and passed my image files from my hard drive to my desktop, I noticed that I can't see the image folders in my files, as they look like are broken and when I click on them and open them, then I can see the image. It says that I have to buy more space to One Drive, but I do not want my images to be saved in One Drive, I just want them on desktop in the memory of my laptop and be able to see the little idles when I go my folder, which I can't at the moment. How I can just be able to see the little images folders and change where to store them? Can you please send me directions and the steps that I need to follow?
