Enjoy your adventures, Andy, if you decide to go back via Farina, check if the 4WD people will be there baking bread in the repaired bakehouse, we'd seen a few shows they'd taken that place to heart and made it a go-to 4WD destination, also "farina" is the Italian word for flour, though their hard work couldn't make enough of that marginal land to make it beyond the fifties. What the bore or the waterway? The bore will never go dry , it is in the lowest part of Australia. Lake Eyre is 18m below sea level at its lowest point
