Aus10a is as good as you can expect at this price point, too. It’s a much-better-than-average budget steel. There’s not much to complain about here, honestly. It’s not my thing personally but if it was, I’d be really happy with this offering/price point.
AUS10A 200+ feet who needs the bad s35vn upcharge. I don’t do small knives usually unless it’s very good but when the full-size comes out I might get one if the edge isn’t thick as hell
My AUS10A CS pals have performed like an upgrade to their s35vn. I thought it was dlc coated in the thumbnail
When you mentioned Hogue and how people pay more for them in 154cm. Of coarse they do. They are top line knives. Made in the USA. A Hogue Deka murders this knife on sale right now for 115 bucks at SMK. Come on people don't fall for a gimicky lock. Support US made knives when you can.
Good points but what if already have a deka( which is great btw). The ad20.5 offers a more affordable, albeit with lesser materials and a smaller size, but its a way to get a demko shark lock folder in peoples hands. Do i wish it was about $25 cheaper yeah but is what it is.
@@jkstdstang Fair enough but why do you want a lessor Shark Lock? The lock is like 4th or 5th down the list of things I look for in a knife. I guess maybe because I am not a figit guy I don’t care about the lock so all that is left is an over priced knife with the materials this knife uses.
@@NewZonaRides engineering plays a role and innovation. A knife is more than just the materials to me. I have enough of the same old same old.
@@jkstdstang OK well at least you configured for me it is the lock on this knife driving the hype. It’s for sure not the performance or anything else.
@@NewZonaRides I have 2 Deka and an RSK, I've tested them all and while the Deka 20CV cut a little more in testing they all last about the same length for me in day to day use. The Aus-10 is better than its given credit for and it strops back better than the Hogue 20CV. My Hogue EX-A01 154cm strops back better and longer than their 20CV. I like Hogue a lot and what they are doing but they need some work with that 20CV. More people need to sharpen and use to do personal evaluations of what they buy to see what a steel is really capable of rather than judge by a steel stamp. Look at the spread sheet with all the sub par M390 and this Aus-10 is just a better user steel than a soft super steel.
AUS*** SUCKS
Boy you have some weird, chubby fingers. Is there anyway you could start wearing gloves while illustrating the knives?
I'm a bridge troll, they don't make gloves for trolls so I can't help you out.
First!
