- Howdy everybody, I'm back! The Impala is back in full swing again! I finally got back to the East coast, & was able to film some videos on the legendary Impala!! This video, we do everything I didn't have time for to make her RUN on her own!

That old 69 is a peice of iron even in good shape they ain't worth much that car is not worth fixing
Other than sticking an old hunk of tin in that back seat hole if it runs I'd just beat on it and then junk it.n I t worth putting no $ into..
Love these cars. My mission is to find an old 69 needing some love and get it back in good shape so I can teach my grandsons how to drive. And take them cruising in our old hotrod Chevy cranking some old school rock and roll classics.
I like to see young guys like you working on old rides but just don't waste all your money on an old rust bucket ok?

1406 Edelbrock is a 600cfm, not a 650.

the whistling leak is bc you still need that thin stainless plate under the adapter. I know bc I did the same thing on my '69😆
If they used the 2696 adapter, they should be fine. The thin plate is for mounting Performer carbs to certain Edelbrock manifolds, not GM manifolds. I had to use one on my 1406 to 2161 on my 396.
