"The War Is Over" is the debut solo album from worship leader and songwriter, Josh Baldwin. The War Is Over marks Baldwin's first release with Bethel Music. I Love the LORD with all of my being!!! If anyone sees this comment, please pray The LORD heals my body. I have had dermatitis for over 5 years now and everything I've tried, as far as prescribed creams and different remedies, has not worked. Also, please pray GOD can heal my stomach. I've had issues with my stomach since I was a kid! We currently don't have health insurance because it's so expensive. I hope all of you have a Beautifully Blessed night! 😊💓

It seems like much of the church is still stuck in the mindset between the cross(Friday) and the Resurrection(Sunday)...like we are stuck on Saturday. There are so many songs talking about the blood. That is one part. That was the payment Jesus made for us. The BIGGER and more important part of the gospel is the what happens after the blood was shed and washed sin away. It's the new life- Heaven to Earth we live now. Let there be more songs about the resurrected life of Heaven on Earth in people. Romans 8:34 points out how the resurrection is more important than the death and how Jesus is in Heaven praying that we truly get this new life that He purchased for us. Live the New! Write the New, Sing the New!

The blood of Jesus transcends the act of the cross. People who talk about it are not immature, they simply understand it's power. The blood of Jesus is also talked about in the last book of the bible, Revelation. Don't you think it would have been omitted from that book if we were to retire from it?
Only focus on the blood of the lamb if you want to overcome. Only speak of the blood if you want to force the enemy to realize his rule was trampled by the sacrifice of the cross. Satan hates the blood of Jesus. If you find the blood of Jesus offensive, maybe you should examine why that is? Jesus gave us a new covenant, and of this he said, "This cup is the new covenant *in my blood*; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me." (I Corinthians **11:25**) Revelation **12:11** tells us, "And they overcame him *by the blood of the Lamb* and by the word of their testimony." Jesus told us to remember the blood. The blood is the essence of life. It was the payment he paid for our salvation. For our freedom. For our healing. May we never, ever forget the blood and by it we know we are made whole and ransomed from the enemy.
My brother we will never have enough songs on this side of eternity that can fully articulate and exhaust the POWER of the BLOOD of JESUS that ETERNAL SACRIFICE will have ETERNAL WORSHIP. I lost another friend night before last to the covid. He was one year older than me and grew up just down the road. He and I were riding partners at school in delivery and pick up of our student. Everyday for most of a semester, we rode in a Ford Escape, about 10 inches apart, with our student in the back. We talked about many, many things. Discussions went on and on about our own lives, our children, our families, our kids at school, the days in our late teens and early 20's when the Vietnam War was underway. I did not have to go. He did. We all owe him a tremendous thank you for his service. He suffered for us. But he knew and I know that neither of us suffered like Christ did for us both even spending time as a POW, a significant amount of time at that. His (Christ's) presence in our life was our number 1 topic. We spoke of that and how He had been part of our lives and how important it was. I don't know how much he visited with others, but he wanted to make sure that I understood and I felt as adamant that he understood. In short, I have no doubt that he truly was a CHILD OF GOD AND THAT HE IS IN GOD'S PEACE.

Just wondering from what stand point the first verse of this song has been written? The reason I ask is because a friend of mine said that we are still in a spiritual battle, so why do we lay our weapons down? We need to put on the whole armor of God. We need to fight our battles in the spirit with the help of the Father Son & Holy Spirit and the angels. The dead are coming back to life - is that a reference to salvation?
Shane Bekker We fight from VICTORY (the finished work of the cross) the good fight of faith. The spiritual battle is to let NOTHING dissuade us from becoming like Christ. It’s in the understanding that Christ is the perfect example for us showing us it IS possible to live in intimacy with the Father and walk in THIS spiritual victory. (Matthew 6:6, Matthew 6:33 ,Matthew 22:37 are key)
