Unbelivable what these current VX1000 filmers are doing. Such great approach to filming. Is not for everybody but for some off us it lights up a spark !
Totally agree on the craft, but I am questioning the intention. Some (not all) filming is executed strictly for the nuance, which is a miss imo. Yoan Taillander nailed it over 10yrs ago; same speed, angle, etc. Just easier on the eyes where I can appreciate the skating and the camera works simultaneously.

Second that motion, macro fisheye panning’s rather unnecessary. Makes me notice the camera more than the skating, should be the other way around…
