i can't begin to explain how fast I was hooked onto this band...
I haven't even heard of this wonderful band 6 months ago and here I am now, having listened probably to all of their songs, being so passionate about TØP that just today when I was shopping with my mom and 'Hometown' was playing at that one store, my heart started beating faster and the lyrics were just pouring out of me. (Well, I probably would've really sung and not just whisper-sung if my friends had been there with me and not my mom, hahaha.)

Here in 2020 after Tyler got abuse on Twitter for his platform joke. A guy I was falling in love with who lived over 3000 miles away shared this video with me and I was instantly intrigued by this duo and their incredibly unique music and deep, meaningful lyrics. Fast forward 3 months and that guy proposed to me during a short visit in my country. By chance we heard that TOP would be performing live nearby during his visit, and we jumped at the chance to see them perform. We loved every minute of it and even got to take a photo with Tyler and Josh afterwards. Fast forward to now and that guy and I have been happily married for 5 years and still adore TOP and consider them our favorite artist. I am also the same age as them and grew up in a similar suburb in Ohio with a similar type of family and background as Tyler and Josh. I had family in Columbus. I am also incredibly socially awkward, have had anxiety all my life and relate to the mental health struggles described in their lyrics and for which they advocate. I hope they see this message: I support and love you guys 100%!! Be true to yourselves and let the haters fade away as they choose. Your true fans will always be here for you!!!

i started crying halfway through because it just kind of hit me how much i truly appreciate twenty one pilots. their words, their music, their passion, their meaning, the way they put all of themselves into their performances, their quirky and absolutely adorable personalities, the compassion and love they show to others, just everything is so splendid and lovely about them. without josh and tyler, i would be such a different person than i am today and it truly shocks me how much they have changed my life in the short two years i have known of them. to tyler, to josh, and to the entire clique, from the bottom of my heart, thank you ~ life is tough but you give me strength. |-/
I got this kinda weird feeling while watching this. I was just watching and concentrating on josh playing drums and tyler singing, and it all felt so familiar like I can't even explain, it just felt like I knew these guys personally, that they are not really superstars or anything like that, just two guys playing their song in warm and cozy studio. It felt safe. Tyler singing sounded so familiar. God I'm not good with words I hope someone gets what I'm trying to say!
