How many songs have Twenty One Pilots written so far?? Like over a hundred maybe? But how?? And at what age mind you?! I'm a middle aged dad about to hit 50. Me and my daughter went to see them in Brussels last week. Man I was just in shock and awe, nearly as much as her! I decided yesterday that me & my fam are going to go to Pukkelpop in Belgium coming August this year. Guess who's headlining :-). These guys got me hyped up as a young dog! Thank the universe for them!
This is the perfect example of how magical music can be. The way he plays the chords and how calm he sings along. Great alternative version. It gives goosebumps and... maybe I kinda cried to it. But it was anyways a sensitive moment.. so it was definitely not because of this beautiful music composition. No, really, Tyler and Josh create incredible music and many songs are both awesome but gentle and emotional. Never seen something like them. I’m very happy he didn’t give up in 2010 and believed his dream to come true. That decision is the reason why we all witness one of the best vocalists on earth right now.

This just goes to show that no matter how long we have listened to musicians, watched all of their interviews, know their birthday, and learn all of their best lines that we aren’t going to know them. We aren’t going to be able to learn every last thing about the celebrities we like and although Josh and Tyler are very open and loving etc, I doubt either of them want to share every last part of their past and their current lives with us. I don’t think that a lot of people expected “Holding Onto You” to be the song that he was talking about when they were in that audience, or maybe that’s just me but still. I feel like little snippets like these kind of push Tyler and Josh because life is hard and it was hard on them, but at the same time I feel like they want to let it out. Now I’m crying. Over the past few years, this song, and all of TØP’s music has come to mean a lot to me. It’s the only thing that can give me the motivation to wake up in the morning, therefore I set my alarm to Before You Start Your Day. It’s the only thing that can give me strength to continue and carry out the rest of my day, therefore I listen to my eighty song TØP playlist to and from school, during lunch, any time I can. It’s the only thing that can help me focus, therefore I usually listen to an album or two when I’m working on something. I have extremely bad plane anxiety, and I had to get on a plane this fall. I listened to this song on repeat the whole way there. Out of all of TØP’s songs, this one stands out the most to me. All of their work is incrediable, and I’m one who hates having favorites, but this song has changed my life. I’d just like to take a moment to thank Tyler (and Josh) for teaching me to think introspectively, and helping me through some really tough times. TØP’s music means a lot to me, I don’t know where I’d be without it.
decided to give this version a listen again. About 45 seconds in the tears started coming faster and faster. All the hard times these videos got me through and all the terrible nights Tyler’s (and joshies) songs got me through. Clinging on to the one thing that made me feel in that moment which was music. I can happily say I’ve made it out of that dark portion of my life and I hold these songs so close to my heart and ill never let them go. Its a place I can go to trigger all the memories and remember how far I’ve come. Im so happy TØP is appreciated by so many more now. I hope you guys feel the same thing I do when i hear these songs.

This just goes to show that no matter how long we have listened to musicians, watched all of their interviews, know their birthday, and learn all of their best lines that we aren’t going to know them. We aren’t going to be able to learn every last thing about the celebrities we like and although Josh and Tyler are very open and loving etc, I doubt either of them want to share every last part of their past and their current lives with us. I don’t think that a lot of people expected “Holding Onto You” to be the song that he was talking about when they were in that audience, or maybe that’s just me but still. I feel like little snippets like these kind of push Tyler and Josh because life is hard and it was hard on them, but at the same time I feel like they want to let it out. I don’t know, maybe I’m going insane, but now I need to get ready for school. Bye to everyone who probably isn’t going to see this.

Often, I doubt myself. Doubt that I'm meant to make music. I often feel hopeless, feel like nothing can help. This band, helps me feel true happiness. They help me understand what I'm meant to do. I can relate to Tyler, even though he's better than I can ever dream to be.

“this ain’t a noose this is a leash and i have news for you, you must obey me.” idk if he means it like this but this is what i got from it and it hits my heart every time because i relate to it so much. so what it means for me is taking all the negative thoughts in your mind and tying them to a noose but it’s actually a leash and saying “you don’t control me” and that just hits me so hard every single time.

Over the past few years, this song, and all of TØP’s music has come to mean a lot to me. It’s the only thing that can give me the motivation to wake up in the morning, therefore I set my alarm to Before You Start Your Day. It’s the only thing that can give me strength to continue and carry out the rest of my day, therefore I listen to my eighty song TØP playlist to and from school, during lunch, any time I can. It’s the only thing that can help me focus, therefore I usually listen to an album or two when I’m working on something. I have extremely bad plane anxiety, and I had to get on a plane this fall. I listened to this song on repeat the whole way there.
Out of all of TØP’s songs, this one stands out the most to me. All of their work is incrediable, and I’m one who hates having favorites, but this song has changed my life. I’d just like to take a moment to thank Tyler (and Josh) for teaching me to think introspectively, and helping me through some really tough times. TØP’s music means a lot to me, I don’t know where I’d be without it.

decided to give this version a listen again. About 45 seconds in the tears started coming faster and faster. All the hard times these videos got me through and all the terrible nights Tyler’s (and joshies) songs got me through. Clinging on to the one thing that made me feel in that moment which was music. I can happily say I’ve made it out of that dark portion of my life and I hold these songs so close to my heart and ill never let them go. Its a place I can go to trigger all the memories and remember how far I’ve come. Im so happy TØP is appreciated by so many more now. I hope you guys feel the same thing I do when i hear these songs.

I'm crying, Jesus Christ, this song is my everything. It's literally been there for me when no one else was, telling me to keep going, to have a little bit of faith and to hold onto that for dear life. I'm 21 now and I've been listening since I was 16.
