I agree. I was really bummed when he left, but I'm so glad he did simply so we could have his solo work. He's releasing his new track tomorrow and I'm jazzed.
Always nice to have PTX on the channel! Thank you Katie for this one 💗 I, once again, love watching you dance along to these pump up songs! Absolutely fabulous reaction DJ! #HerdLove x
Lol. I've watched the reaction 3 times so far, I supposed I should leave a comment. 😂 I love that you appreciate the long note hold that Avi has in the chorus. Lots of reactors miss it. Thank you DJ!! I love it!
I just watched a 4-month video where I suggested you listen to Superfruit (Scott & Mitch) doing Defying Gravity and you haven't done it yet, so I'm suggesting it again.
Kirstie , Kirsten, she uses both. The thing to remember is the "I " is before the "R". That is what the real difference is. This is one of those songs that really showcases their high level of talent and how everyone HAS to know how to stay in their own lane, stick to their own part. They are EPIC !
In their cover of starships, she sings my name is Kirstin you can call me Kirstie. So you were correct with both. Her legal name is Kirstin but many call her Kirstie. She tends to get upset when people call Kristen/Kristie. It’s all a matter of where you place the R.
Love this song but try “God only knows” and “ falling in love with you”. These are two of my favorite songs. not many others play these beautiful upgrades. You got a good show, “let the good times roll”.
Her name is Kirstin, and that's what she prefers to be called by fans. But Kirstin doesn't rhyme with anything, so we remind people that her nickname, Kirstie, rhymes with thirsty. But as a general rule, you shouldn't call er Kirstie unless you're a close personal friend. Just use the Kirstie/thirsty rhyme to remember that her name is Kirstin, not Kristin.
Somehow my post is getting deleted, so I will try again. Kirstie fans can rightly call her Kirstie. The proof is in their Starships video at the 1:40 point. Link: ruclips.net/video/_6K8mkytEMY/видео.htmlsi=Qs7xV643iuO1_LRW She seems to be a kind and humble person.
@df5199 Thanks. They all seem to be kind and humble people; I think it's because they've gone to such lengths to be a family, making sure that every member has a voice in what they do, and time in the spotlight. However, this video is from 2012, less than a year after they won _"The Sing-Off,"_ and Kirstin's stage name on the show was Kirstie. She was only 20 years old when they recorded "Starships." She is now 31. I'm not convinced that she doesn't prefer to reserve the use of her nickname to close friends at this point, not out of any disrespect for the fans but out of a need to be treated with adult respect herself. Also, have you ever heard the saying "If you want to be rich and famous, first try just being rich and see whether that's enough"? Being famous is difficult. When Pentatonix recorded "Starships" their fame was limited. They hadn't yet had a taste of what it would be like to be surrounded by fans who all wanted to be noticed. At this point, while they still love their fans, they truly CAN'T give each of us the kind of individual attention we'd all like to have. This is why meet-and-greets are so expensive; it's a way of cutting the problem down to size. At this point they NEED to distance themselves from us, and limiting the use of her nickname is one way Kirstin can do that. Regarding comments disappearing, I've had the same problem and I don't know why it happens. Some days there will be no problem at all and other days everything I post seems to be deleted immediately. I just put it down to "something weird about RUclips."
14 minutes of PTX is soooooo much better than 6 minutes. And Meghan Trainor is much better when performed by others, which has worked for a lot of songwriters.
Mitch’s impeccable voice and vocal gymnastics aside, nobody, *NOBODY* does “sassy” better than he does!
Avi Kaplan was my favorite part of Pentatonix. I’m so happy that he’s chosen to have a solo career. His vocal talents exceed his awesome bass.
I agree. I was really bummed when he left, but I'm so glad he did simply so we could have his solo work. He's releasing his new track tomorrow and I'm jazzed.
@@Emilaria Me too, but look at us now--we've still got Avi, and we get Matt too!
I hope you react to PopSpring 2016 soon! You’ll be in awe! It’s my favorite. Sooooo good!
This is such a GREAT song !! And incredible cover!!

I think you might enjoy their cover of Problem

I love watching the Kevin/ Avi (meat and potatoes) vibe in this one ❤ so much fun!!!
Great reaction. Thank you.

I haven’t heard this one before! You’re right, it’s so much fun. And I’m always happy when you react to Pentatonix 😊❤
A favorite Babytonix performance!

I love this one (PTX’s version), and wish more reactors would listen to it! #PTX
Her name is Kirstin, but she also goes by Kirstie. So, you're correct, but confusing yourself lol
I love these old videos! They're all so young. Avi has a new song out today you should definitely check out!🎉
Recommend their new live video of Kiss From A Rose.
Love sassy Mitch

That was such a fun reaction! You really called out all the parts that I love most.

Kirstie has already told her fans to call her Kirstie in a video.
@@df5199 Has she? I'd been told that she prefers for her nickname to be used only by close friends. Do you have a link?
