The Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum also served as the site of the Opening, Closing Ceremonies, and Athletic Events for the 1932 Summer Olympic Games, the 1984 Summer Games, and the 2028 Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games.
If you watch too much sports you'll become dumb and the proof is in the word "stadium". If you take out the "i" out of "stadium" and pronounce it what does it sound like? "Stay dumb". And "Coliseum" kind of sounds like "Come and see em'"😂🤣
Very cool. I miss the games in the sun at places like the Rose Bowl. I wish they would go back to one of those classic venues, and have an earlier start once and a while.
I think the city of Green Bay is just way to small to sustain a Super Bowl, like I believe the town itself wouldn't be able to contain all of those Super Bowl visitors compared to a city like New Orleans or Dallas! that would be so cool though, a Super Bowl at the Frozen Tundra! I think a Super Bowl in Philly for Americas 250th anniversary would be sick!
Denver would be a great host! I mean the city would be able to hold all the visitors and I think the stadium meets the capacity, the NFL needs to expand on Host Sites, like imagine a Super Bowl at the Rose Bowl again
Yea I know they're wrong I just like using those helmets because this channels style is the usage of old, vintage NFL styles such as helmets or logos to pay homage to the history of the league
Because it didn't seat enough people. It only could hold around 55000 for football, and Rice Stadium seated around 72000. They expanded the Astrodome in the 80s to about 60000, but still not enough for the new NFL. That's the main reason the Oilers moved to Tennessee. New stadium was finally built for the new franchise awarded to the Texans. A condition of the franchise transaction was the new stadium would get to host a super bowl soon after being opened.
looks good thank you that is keep thanks

It's a very iconic place for sports

Super bowl lviii:
February 2024
Allegiant stadium, Las Vegas, Nevada
Next Super Bowl is in Las Vegas.
they should stop being whimps and take it up to lambeau once

As a Packers fan I wish so too but I don’t think this will ever happen unfortunately
maybe denver? Big City, First taste of the cold, Plus there are some renovations happening this year.

I agree they should give cold cities a chance but they might go with Denver or Boston or another New York game
Wrong helmets for Pats vs Bears , and Giants and Bills during 90s, wrong Broncos in later years
Yea I know they're wrong I just like using those helmets because this channels style is the usage of old, vintage NFL styles such as helmets or logos to pay homage to the history of the league
I didn't realize Carolina was in the super bowl twice.
They even went to the NFC title game in just their second year of being in the NFL!
@@sportshistoryinc Now I remember, yes they did.
I am pissed that they stopped making custom logos around 10 years ago.
I think Super Bowl LX should be played in Atlanta
That would be so cool! I know next years is in Las Vegas and then New orleans I beleive? I hope they pick cool locations
They might do another one there since MB Stadium is a very good venue but it’ll probably be between 2028/2029 and 2030s
Why?
Why didn’t the astrodome ever host a Super Bowl
No idea! It's a shame though
Because it didn't seat enough people. It only could hold around 55000 for football, and Rice Stadium seated around 72000. @@realSamAndrewThanks for the answer. NGL, I had a false memory of the Astrodome hosting at least one Super Bowl.
Honestly tho John Elway was a way more better quarterback than Dan Marino and Joe Montana
John Elway was probably the best Broncos quarterback besides Peyton Manning
@@TrickyyOnee nevermind I changed my mind it's people like YOU. Don't ever put Elway and manning in the same sentence
This is very arguable. All three were great.
I know Jacksonville had issues with hotel space leading up to SB XXXIX, but if they fix those issues why can't they host another SB?
I think they should be able to host another one as long as they have the space needed
Notice how all of the winners helmets were on the left then they put the Chiefs on the left for this one? 👀👀
Hahaha its not what you think😂😂 I put them on the left cause they're the away team and the Eagles are the home team so they are on the right!!!
I can’t believe this doofus left out Super Bowl LVIII when the Jaguars brought the Lions into overtime.
We're all dreamers brother
