Judging by the trail map if Powderbowl Express goes out of service in the early morning, most people are basically screwed because there is no redundancy other than a long drive to the other side of the mountain.
Edit: I've just realised I forgot about the gondola. There is no line on Google Maps so I simply forgot about it until I looked at the trail map again after I posted XD

They built the tram for easy access from parking lots. Also, if Gunbarrel has a 30+ minute line, go to the tram. It never gets any lines.

First, great job, I think your presentation has improved quite a bit from your earlier videos. I agree staying out of the gondola area is advisable if you're driving in that day. However, I think there's a lot to be said for staying in South Lake Tahoe. You can stay at a major casino resort literally steps from the gondola and then enjoy high quality dining and nightlife after the ski day without going anywhere. I don't believe any North American Mountain has easier access to better nightlife. To me, that was the whole point in going there to begin with.

Thank you so much! The goal is to make each video better than the last, although I'm still working on figuring out thumbnails. Yeah, neither of us are old enough to drink, so we didn't really think about the après/nightlife scene. Thank you for sharing your opinion!

@@SRGSkiing Wow, I can't believe you've already been to all these ski resorts at such a young age! But yeah, totally agree with what you've presented here. Round-A-Bout is the absolute worst.

I go to Heavenly pretty much for the vibes, great views and pretty good Apres. I love to stay at the Stagecoach base.

That absolute behemoth of an Insider's Guide will be coming sometime during next season. The Hater's Guide will be published in August.

@@SRGSkiing Could totally see the hate for it. It’s expensive, has horrible wind hold problems, and even though I’ve never been caught in big lines there I’ve seen chairlift nightmares at KT online. That’s a mountain you definitely need to know where to go depending on the time of day. If you’re familiar with Reverse Traverse (pathway to get to Headwall from Siberia), that is my most hated aspect of that place. You could be flying down the Palisades and you hit that RTraverse cat track and it will mess you up permanently.
