I am loving these Liberation showcase videos, especially because I've really missed your old Conquest video series. That's what got me into this game, and it's by far my fav WW2 game ever. I was really happy to see that one of the first units you chose to use was the halftrack with 37mm and twin .50s, always loved that thing since I first saw it in Company of Heroes :)
I am so hyped for this DLC. In every ww2 game, even if the Americans have a straight disadvantage, I still love playing them. Cant beat watching troops hurl 30-06 at the enemy with Shermans raining down fire right beside them.
One of the big things that I’m thinking about is how prevalent the garand is. Having pretty much all infantry be able to use semi auto rifles is a small bonus, but it can be significant.
I find it funny seeing those pigs in fields minding their own business and totally ignoring the firefight unleashed around them. Can't wait to see the new missions and a closer look at all the new units and gear thia DLC has to offer.
Feldwebel means field guide. But u were right, its equivalent of old German Sgt rank. German army got rid of the name Sgt after WW1. Don't know why, perhaps someone can enlighten us?
My favorite WW2 game. Can you do a new unit showcase like you did with Scorched Earth? I want to see the new units but avoid singleplayer campaign mission spoilers.
Has anyone else had a bug that makes your infantry not use their guns? Whenever I try to have them attack a unit they just run at them with grenades. The enemy infantry also doesn’t use their guns. Vehicles and large guns fire on their own fine.
Can’t believe this is on the way, some people said before Gates of Hell is only Eastern Front Soviet vs Germany vs Finland. And only able to play as Western forces on Workshop. I wonder how this will evolved in the future with Men of War II on the way as well
I think we will see more forces down the line for sure; dont forget MOW2 and GoH are made by different developers and published by different studios so they cant really be seen as adding to another or whatever, basically competitors I guess
GoH in my eyes is already better than Mow2. The many different uniforms. So much detail, the sound, now even America is in. Goh is superior! I bet it gets first person mode too later for infantry.
lmao you really have an obsession with "gay" huh? Personally I wish we got a 1st person (from the devs, there are mods) but I think theyd rather focus on other things than making that look good
@@theShermanator Check out Arma 3 "Wargame RTS mod" that's the dream. I don't think third person and first person works well in a game like Gates Of Hell, its more like a gimmick, unless they did some serious animation updates

They feel so fresh but so old too, its a weird but good feeling, like I launched MOWAS 2 but if it was made in 2021 haha
I love how conquest really makes you appreciate the life of individual units compared to campaign/skirmish

Well the M1 Garand was definitely a scary gun in WW2 compared to the bolt actions

Building combat MOW2 has thats great as well, and no need for MP lobby shenanigans as the game finds teams for ya but yaeh

For easy reverse orders just shift click in small-medium steps. It queues reverse driving for as long as you want

Thats a weird bug, might wanna verify your steam files or ask on their Discord
