G'day Pete, What an awesome adventure, snakes, torrential mud , and big arsed mozzies . Decent ride for the day with a welcoming pub at the end . Don't know how I'd go with 3 blokes in 1 cabin thought 😅. Cheers 🍻

Thanks heaps Will, always enjoy your comments mate. Yeah 3 blokes in a cabin, not ideal, but it's cheap, and you don't have to cart all your camping gear with you. Ear plugs in for the bloody snoring. LOL.

I think the river area was flooded by the authorities to give the surrounding trees a good drink. When they do this the water sits stagnant for ages, hence the mosquito's. Sure made for some motorcycle fun.

Hi Bill, Was a fantastic ride with Chappy and Barry. And yes Chappy's bike was the famous Desert Weapon, Which is still on the cards at some stage to do the Desert Crossing.

just another ktm with problems when are we going to see some footage from the cape york trip ?

I have started the Cape York editing, So hopefully soon. I was impressed how easy it was to work on the KTM. Other than that creek crossing, the KTM 500 did the 1500km 3 day ride easy. I suppose time will tell on it's reliability.

The trend setting shoes are all the go here in Victoria, all the top Adventure riders are wearing them. My first pair of "Crocs" I purchased in Albany in W.A. in 2008. They do come with a diff locking heal strap that allows full off-road walking in the most demanding terrain, and can be worn as formal wear to the Pub. From the deepest creek crossings to the harsh outback heat, Crocs will get you where you wanna go. LOL.
