I recently killed dragonfly with my friend, the arena was COVeree in spiders on one side because it was right next to one of those rock floor spider biomes so we used another side of the arena. I was wortox he was wormwood and he made bramble husks and darkswords and i dodged quite well. To me, dragonfly always looked bigger than all of the other bosses, for some reason but I killed him 😊
When you start an attack do 7 hits, tank the forst hit then repeat for 6 hits onwards. To get to the other side of dragonfly you can hit 4 times and curve around for a perfect dodge and reposition. Do well and you can get away with 4 helmets and around 200hp of food just in case. Fish sticks work well or in winter use wobsters with 3 ice.
But what about when I’m away from base “Simply go down into the caves and find the ruins. Then you need to use green gems and living logs to make a reconstruction staff so you can destroy and rebuild your furnace whenever you travel. BUT WAIT there’s more. If you have a green amulet you can duplicate scales so that you can have a scaled furnace on every tile.”
You dupe scales with decon staff through scaled flooring deconstructing. not cons amulet. Its also a waste to use green gems on scales, as you can just change characters to wanda/wolfgang and get about a scale per 40 seconds. Better to use decon staff for duping shroom skins
Thermal Stones, Thermal Circuits (Heat for Winter/Cold for Summer), and WX: "HYPOTHERMIA IS FOR THE WEAK." Also worth noting, let the robot help manage the Thermal Stones. Drop it near Hot/Cold Circuit WX, fixed.

It also gives you the extra adorable lava larvae egg. It takes 2 days to hatch, it works like a smallbird egg. Once the egg hatches, take the thingy snd the extra adirable lava larvae will follow you feed charcoal to it to keep it alive, and it is also a portable campfire, but it will light up stuff arround it
I thought the larvae was cool but it lightning anything nearby on fire was too much for me lol I know you can simply trap and then leave them off to the side but eh at that point it’s just a decoration

Oh boy, we had to replant the forests because I chopped down everything within one day of walking distance. If you getting hit by dragonfly, you will need to do another, 7th hit. If you cancelling animations with swapping armor, you must hit her one additional time... Almost... It depends from your speedboost and kiting pattern, try to give more attention to actual time between hits, and distance between you and the boss, so you can understand your abilities to hit her additional time
Ahh if me I make lot of fun powder first like 99 and I make the dragonfly sleep...place that gun powder near the dragonfly and use fire staff to make it boom and after that will tank it..until it dead...becouse the gun powder make the dragonfly half live 🤣🤣..I always do that..and ahh use willow that immune to fire
Wearing two armor pieces makes it so that the durability they take is evenly distributed, so you could use it to save pig skin for example if you have the wood for it. A more practical use case would be with higher protection but more expensive armor since wearing another cheaper armor piece still grants the protection of the expensive one. Since the durability loss is split between the two armor pieces, the durability of the expensive armor piece is effectively doubled.
Hammer every pig house so you can get as many as you want but spare some for pig farm later. Also, pigs won't agro on you if you break their houses so enjoy
@@bananatheo3796 you don't need to stay that close. Just a little, if you see you start burning back up a little and you will find a sweet spot. I use a mod that shows my body temperature and I saw that lava is a nice spot to warm your termo and yourself
I use merms to passive farm dragonfly for me well not really passive but i feed like the merms some seeds get them to aggro onto dfly and they stun lock her into oblivion without me attacking her once... sometimes i do need to pop the pan flute if dragon fly enrages but if you have enough merms you can just kill dfly without using pan flute at all because sometimes she doesnt have time to enrage
The winter itself is easier than dragonfly. It's a stupid idea to recommend to kill it to a new players. It's like recommend to kill a celestial champion to survive the night lol

it saves you pig skin by effectively doubling the durability of your football helms (half the durability loss goes to the log suit), so it's not pointless. It becomes even more not pointless when you replace it with a thulecite crown for example, since they're a lot harder to get and the log suits can make it last for 2x longer

You're gonna have way more wood than you do pig skin by the time you use deerclops or bearger to mass cut down trees so it can definitely be worth doing to save on pig skin without making much of a dent on other resources. If the short said 8 football helms, you can instead turn that into 4 helms and 4 log suits, which can be easier to get depending on the circumstances. Also marble suits slow you down by a crapton so unless you're gonna tank the boss (which would need a LOT more than one marble suit) then nah

Dragonfly is a tough kite for new players to learn but once you master it Winter is almost a Joke

It's way easier and better to dupe scales from the scaled flooring. 1 scale gives you 5 flooring and and each gives you 1 scale back
