The applications of the metaverse in the various aspects of our lives will be enormous if developers manage to overcome some of the challenges raised by you and others. In the area of health projects like StepApp metaverse is already exploring the fitness aspect where it users keep fit by walking, jogging or running.
Use cases for VR in health care are expanding daily. In psychiatry it is used for PTSD therapy and combating isolation in seniors during the pandemic. In physical therapy VR is being used to make therapy more enjoyable so patients are more consistent with their therapy. It is also being used to test the safety level of patients with left side neglect as well as vision related issues. We have just begun to scratch the surface with regard to the uses and usefulness of these tools. Trying to get VR to be the new telemedicine which is pretty effective as is, will consume a lot of resources that could be otherwise used on better use cases such as TBI and Post-CVA.

There’s a group in Asia called “ border less health care “ they have been around for a while but it seems they have issues with execution ( I am yet to see them hire anyone) The idea is good so I will do it myself.

Just using prexisting tech and putting it into medical care 😂 maybe because I’m young I just don’t find this exciting. It’s not gonna cure cancer, just help with sad Jimmy who’s on 10 different drugs prescribed his psychiatrist and Johnny who broke his leg
