I remember going there has a child me and my aunts would be cruising E Street and we did stop at McDonald's in the 1960s and 70s brings back memories. My hometown
Hi Jordan. I can't believe it, I'm 71 y.o. and remember our local walk-up McDonalds from my high school days. In addition to the hamburgers and french fries, I recall their delicious milkshakes. THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES!
Jah is just so doggone cute! Love to watch him wiggle-waggle down the sidewalk! What a wonderful little friend, that Jahster! I remember 15 cent burgers at a walk-up McDonalds, Boise, Idaho. (Mid 60's) Great vlog, Jordan!
WOW This Was Cool !! I Did Not Know Anything About How McDonalds Got Started....Most Of The Memorabilia I Hadn't Even Seen Before !! Loved It....Ty Haven't Seen The Movie Either..
💋Late but here! lol I remember when I first went to a McD’s as a little girl. The movie with Michael Keaton really changed my view on McDs. The founders were incredibly hard working men. Thanks for sharing this. Continued Blessings, Support and Good Vibes to you. Happy Easter too. Love and Light 💖Carli
Jordan, once again you vlog something that we wouldn't even think of and now you've brought back so many memories! I can remember my first visit to McDonald's, 1970!! Seeing all the old characters & Happy Meal toys was fun! So interesting to see where it all began! Thanks for a great vlog!
Hi Jordan, what a lovely little Museum, there are a few memories there, not to mention a few calories. Well, it's true what they say "from little acorns mighty oaks grow!". Nice seeing the Jahster enjoying his walk and meeting up with his buddies. Liked your little chuckle at the start of the vlog. Great vlog Jordan.
Jah looked so happy to see his friends! Really cool seeing the McDonald’s Museum. The mural, memorabilia, and hearing the history was neat. I always loved getting the toys as a child. I’m glad they followed their dream. Without them their would be no McDonalds or the childhood memories that come with it. Thank you Jordan for sharing. I appreciate all your wonderful vlogs. Wishing everyone a Happy Easter.
This was a blast from the past! My grandma lived in Big Bear back in the 60's and I lived in Buena Park. We used to stop at that Mc Donald's when we visited her. Thanks for the memories!!
I never even heard of the movie until I was on a plane from California heading back to Georgia. So that's how I learned of the movie. I sure do appreciate you showing us the very first location. Very cool, indeed and a part of our history for sure!
What a great vlog. I loved this. All the McDonald's packaging and toys. I remembered some of things you showed. Lots of good info on McDonald's. We always love to see you and Jah. Thanks for bringing us here. Can't wait to see where we go tomorrow. Safe travels and take care.
Very cool vlog about maccas, yup that golden arch. Maccas have come a very long way, I like their choc dipped ice cream. Now they have McCafe as part of their store, Cuddles for Jah, thank you Jordan

It made me sad to know someone like you that's so awesome and so talented is sad . You go on your trip to Graceland in Memphis Tenn. and I'm sure that will help out a lot . Go to Jon Dailey 's pawn shop too while you're there . I hear it's an awesome place to visit . I always enjoy your vlogs . I don't understand why people wouldn't enjoy your travel video's ? We love you and Jau and you keep doing what you love . Take care my kind friend . 😘❤
There is a McDonald's in Milwaukee that was probably built in the early 1960s. It still exists on Layton Avenue near the Milwaukee International Airport and still retains some of the original architecture. Nice with a corporation that exists in practically every country on earth you can still find working locations that still have a feel of the original identity.
I just to wanted say I love your blogs and also your very handsome and I would love to meet a guy like you your ex didn't realize what she had her loss love you Jordan
I ate at that McDonald’s with my grown sister when I was a little kid. They served nothing but burgers, fries, sodas and shakes, and you sat outside at a table to eat. That was when San Bernardino was still a beautiful city.
I really enjoyed this! It's fun to think of the things over the years that have come and gone that they served and that I got to experience. I love that although things had to evolve, that so much is still the same too. I live in a smaller city and we have 5 McDonald's, so it is still so popular. Even after 4 decades of eating there, I still crave a cheeseburger and fries from time to time. I recall being very young and eating pizza there too. This was great!
Wow, the Stones first US shows. And they hung out at McDonalds. Cool stuff. You said recently that you’re heavily back into the Stones after Spain. Have you picked up the latest Sticky Fingers reissue from a few years ago? The new mix is fantastic! I can hear things I never heard before. And Keith and Mick Taylor’s guitars are right up front where they belong. Incredible
This was extremely interesting to me as I worked in their corporate headquarters Twice! Both times in the seventies. I left the first time in 1972 when I worked in their real estate legal dept to give birth to my son. I went back about five years later and worked in customer service. I actually worked on the same floor at one point in time. Funny thing is, my son now works for their corporate office in Chicago. He has all my old memorabilia!
When my kids were born we started collecting McDonalds toys - still have them tucked away some place. Great vlog and informative as usual! :) Have a great day Jordan!
😎 My mom who passed away 20 years ago this October left a huge collection of McDonald's Happy Meal toys and McDonald's collectibles ..Thanks Jordan good vlog !
McDonalds didn't make it to Australia untill the mid 70's. I still love MAC TONIGHT many years after he went off again. If you ever come back to Iceland, In The famous Bus Hostel in Reyjakvik has the last every Cheeseburger and small fries in a glass box!
Wonderful video Jordon, always wondered what the history of McDonalds was. My biggest regret was they stopped doing the big breakfast here locally and I have not been since.
Well what a pleasant surprise! San Bernardino having the first McDonald’s fast food restaurant on Route 66 to top it off. Janitorial work at night was one of the better paying jobs in the mid 1970’s in the desert town of Blythe CA when the population there was only 7,000 people. Thanks for the rich history behind the restaurant known all around the world, Jordan and seeing Jah again made my day as well. ❤️🙏🏻🍔🐕🦺
I remember clearly when the first McDonald's opened in our neighborhood in Columbus, Oh. I'm guessing the year was around 1957 or '58. It was a HUGE deal! Prior to McDonald's opening (at least in our lives) if you wanted to eat, then mom had to cook something. Except for picnics, all meals were eaten at home, while sitting at the dining room table. My dad, in fact MOST dads, in those days would religiously clean the inside and outside of their cars every weekend, so it was a huge treat if we could talk dad into going to McDonald's for dinner. We were actually allowed to eat in the car! You have to understand that this was like a mini trip to an amusement park or a picnic. It was so exciting and so much fun! My dad loved to drive and a few years later we would pack up the car and just take long trips, exploring the states around us every weekend. One thing we learned was that no matter where we went we could always count on McDonald's being the same. Sticking to that formula you mentioned made them an anchor for these long car trips. I think that was a key part of their success. JORDAN - Thank you again for taking us along on this trip and (for me anyway) bringing back some wonderful memories. Now I'm hungry for a McDonald's and I'm pretty sure it won't taste nearly as good at 68 as it did at 8. Still, I'm willing to give it a go!
🦁 Jordan, they tore down the McDonald’s that was in Des Plaines, Illinois. I wanted to go visit it and when I did my research it was too late. 😡🤷🏼♀️😡. I do want to visit this McDonald’s. Sending 🐒 Jah some belly rubs. 💖
I remember going there has a child me and my aunts would be cruising E Street and we did stop at McDonald's in the 1960s and 70s brings back memories. My hometown

When I was young things seemed so much more magical. Saturday morning cartoons, McDonalds, stores closing at 5pm and not open on Sunday.
Yep
Thanks for showing the beginning history of McDonalds. It is still one of my favourite places to eat. From Australia.🙂
