One man's vision that created art for his love of the Lord. Leonard attracted like minded people or people who just enjoyed his art. Thank you to the volunteers who keep everything beautiful. Thank you Jordan and hugs in memory of your Dad.
Your sense of wonder and appreciation makes experiences like this one even more amazing! As you walked throughout Mr. Knight’s creation, I couldn’t help but think of Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens. Thank you for sharing this special place/story! 😊
The cloud formations against the beautiful blue sky (10:45 and thereafter) make the area look surreal...creating a heavenly landscape. Can see why Leonard loved this area.
Amazing place Jordan! One of my favorite locations. It took so much love and dedication to build that. As a pastor, this vlog was extra special. I think it was a great way to celebrate your dad's memory. Sorry for your loss, but keep honoring him through the way you see life. Thanks Jordan!
Hey Jordan good thoughts to you I'm thrilled that you have been posting late or early which ever it is I am up late and I wanted to get a comment to you and n o t be in at 100th or more so I really dig what you do and your little dog too you guys make me happy every am without fail and you have never put out a vlog I haven't liked no bullshit you make me happy thank you so very much and sorry you aren't ok but you will be thanks miss dena
Leonard was such a positive man! He didn’t get angry when he was disabled and had to leave his life’s work. Thankful for Leonard Knight and Salvation Mountain. I got to see the colorful artwork through Jordan’s eyes.
Absolutely amazing, Jordan! How great that you are going through so much yet still carry on with your vlogs. We truly appreciate all that you do for us. Thank you. God bless you.
Thank you Jordan this is so beautiful and not far from me, will definitely try to go there. He left us a message of Love from God. March 1981 I called out to Jesus to save me,and He did, im so greatful.
*WOW even a metal Banana 🍌* Jordan ~ I'm sorry to hear that you lost your Father at a young age. I absolutely LOVE this place! Seen it in vids before, but never get tired of watching. Such a great monument to represent, how one person can make/do amazing things. And it's magical to see how, indeed, what he created continues to bring people together. Not just in person, at the site. But through a vid like yours. Allowing us fans/viewers to witness it. How sad he had Dementia :( My Gramma, who was my very best friend. Suffered from it too & also stayed in a Retirement home. Unfortunately, that place ended up being absolutely horrible. Awww he has a yellow brick road & the flowers are gorgeous. THANK YOU JORDAN, for including your commentary with this. Covering all the unique facts and background information. It's absolutely fascinating & someday I'd like to visit in person. YOU RAWK!
I watched part of your earlier chat where you talked about your breakup with Amy. Time will heal what is causing your pain and sadness. With each passing day; new experiences, relationships, and challenges will fill the temporary hole created by this sad situation and bury it as a distant memory.
Love and Hugs to you and Jah Jordan!!! Your Daddy would be so proud of you I'm sure. This is a beautiful way to honor him! Keep the faith and let NO ONE steal your joy!
Well, another interesting vlog Jordan! Didn't know this place even existed. Easter must be a hard time for you every year. My heart is with you buddy, take care!
Great vlog today. Leonard Knight’s Salvation Mountain is a work of art. Glad it is being taken care of and looked after. Thank you Jordan for the tour. Sending love and prayers during this difficult time of year.
So glad you finally went here! I take my kids here all the time my husband grew up in near by Brawley, CA. His grandma tells us stories of how all the locals would donate buckets of paint to Leonard.
Very expressive Jordan it was his piece of heaven that he left for us. It’s safe to say we’re he is now. Happy Easter Jordan I really mean it. God Bless you....
I'm sorry about your Dad dying on Easter. That is really rough. I enjoyed seeing this beautiful place. I had seen something about it before but not as well done as yours. This was a perfect vlog for Easter, it was full of love, hope and beauty. Thank you
This is an amazing piece of artwork. What a wonderful gift to leave behind. Something beautiful and positive. We all could learn something from Leonard. You always amaze me at some of the wonderful, unique things you find in our world and you share them with us. I'm sure a lot of people drive by this everyday and never take the time to stop and look at it. Let alone find out so much about who made it and what his story was. I hope Leonard found peace at some point in his life. Thank you Jordan so very much for finding this amazing artwork and bringing us out here to see it. I know I never would have seen it if it wasn't for you. Please take care and know that you have friends that look forward to your vlogs and their lives wouldn't be the same if it wasn't for you. God bless your dad and may he rest in peace. I think he would be very proud of you. Love and safe travels my friend.
Mr. Knight was an amazing man, and his Creation is so beautiful. I've seen other videos done about Salvation Mountain, and a documentary about him. He is one of my heroes and I can't wait to meet him someday in Heaven! I'm sorry about your dad, I know how hard those anniversaries are. 😞 But on that day I believe you were in the most perfect place you could have been. You are in my prayers. Much love to you and the Jahster! 💖 🐾
Hi Jordan, what a fascinating place and so lovely and colourful. I bet you can really feel the peacefulness there. When you think of all the time and love that the guy put into that, I am so pleased it get's so many visitors. Great vlog Jordan.
I absolutely loved this !! You know what it is ....? It's his testimony and his walk with Jesus and even though he's gone on to live with Jesus in heaven ...he's still able to continue to share his testimony !! That is so beautiful...!! Jordan , I never knew about this and I'm so glad you went out there and made a video of this , because I probably won't ever get to see in person . How ever if I ever get a chance though I would love to see it in person as well . I remember you telling that story about your dad last year , but I had forgotten about it . I'm so sorry that Easter is a hard day for you . I understand it though, bc I my dad passed away when I was a little girl also . You move on in life , but you never forget . I hope this will help you by visiting this beautiful place and hopefully you'll be able to make some better memories in the future when Easter rolls around each year . ❤ I'm going to share this video with my family and friends . Thanks Jordan and God bless you !!
Great vlog. I was hoping this would be today's vlog. I didn't know the story behind it. Thanks for teaching me something new. I hope you have a great Monday Jordan!
WONDERFUL! I wish I'd had a chance to meet him. So much love in one man and in one place. There must be more out there in the world for us all. We just have to stay out there in the world and keep looking. No matter how hard it gets sometimes! (My dad died on Good Friday. In his case he had been fighting bone cancer for 4 years so his passing felt like a blessing for him.)
I totally get how that day bums you out. I lost my grandma and uncle to cancer and both their Birthdays were in May with mine, actually 5 days apart and it took me over 5 years to even want to Celebrate my Birthday again.
You know Jordan... I grew up not that far from there.. In Palm Desert. He was concidered one of those "marvels" in the desert who was on the eccentric side but always had a kind word for everybody who came there. He was like Andy the donkey man, pegleg Pete and others who had been out in the desert too long under the Sun. Pegleg pete was a miner down south in the badlands of Borrego not to far from Salton Sea. Another note.. hang in there my friend.. go where your heart tells you to go, stay close with your family and Grandpa for they are your strength. You are a Good dude with an extremely good heart willing to show things to the world. Take care and stay blessed Bill
I have always been intrigued by those that find an art form and continue creating a space the rest of their lives. Its a phenomena that happens all over the world. Some have themes, or are dedicated to someone or something. We have the "Orange Show" and the "Beer Can" house in my city. Their art out lives them generally and goes one to be an homage to their own life. This one being perpetuated by volunteers, will live on a very long time. Thanks for vloging it !
💋Thank you so much for sharing this. You are very courageous. You have done things people only dream of. Your authentic self shines through the screen of your vlogs. God is Love, without a doubt! Sending you blessings and good vibes. Love and Light 💖Carli
You did a wonderful job explaining this beautiful place and the man who created it. God bless bro, it made me cry when u told the story of him pulling over to the side of the road saying Jesus I am a sinner come into my heart.😢 God is love!

How you do the narration on the fly is amazing. All the research involved. You make it flow seemingly effortlessly.
So glad you finally went here! I take my kids here all the time my husband grew up in near by Brawley, CA. His grandma tells us stories of how all the locals would donate buckets of paint to Leonard.
