With regards to the Heavy K issue, the timing might have been wrong but I feel Mac G owes the man an apology. Just like you took the time out of your busy schedule to call him, he equally took time out of his busy schedule to do an interview with you, for that let's respect him. It might seem like a small issue here but it could have changed how people relate to him or potentially destroy his future work opportunities which will result to taking money away from his kids. If we are going to look at it from a parents point of view.

My opinion is that MacG handled this whole Heavy K issue incorrectly. If you misquote someone and it has potential to cause harm on their relationship with others and they bring that up, you need to apologize. I saw the texts between him and Heavy k and I can safely say Heavy K handled that well, better than I could have.

Heavy K's timing may have been off, I get that BUT place yourself in his shoes, he never said that the album was "pap". The wording from MaG was wrong, it was not correct. Look it from an artist to an artist Heavy to Coffee, Heavy might need a favor from Coffee one day (Coffee is big) he probably doesn't want that animosity between the two of them.
But Macg didn't quote anyone, he used the word to summarize the whole thing.

Ok, here’s my two cents, which I think is the point Ghost Lady was trying to make.
MacG, you talk about people all the time and that’s a huge part of the podcast’s appeal. And no one can tell you what you can or cannot say. Freedom of speech, right?
BUT, by the same token, you cannot tell people how (or when) to react to what you say about them.
Right now you are acting like you expected Heavy to care that your kid was sick. You’re acting like YOUR kid should be important to HIM. No. Would it make him human if he did care? Absolutely. But he didn’t HAVE TO care. It’s YOUR kid, not his. What HE does care about is what YOU said about HIM. What’s important to him is HIS relationship with Coffee. And he felt like you messed with that.
You paraphrased your conversation with Coffee, yes, but you have to acknowledge that it did sound like he’d said something negative about Coffee. Maybe that’s not a big deal to YOU, but you don’t know what kind of relationship HE has with Coffee, and what harm YOUR paraphrasing may have done to it.
Is he overreacting? Maybe. But remember, you CANNOT tell someone how to react. You can’t accuse him of being a narcissist for being upset. If he’s a narcissist, then he is. But his feelings are valid.

At some point Mac will need to take responsibility for some of his comments, I am a chiller and have been for a long time, but if there is anything that makes me want to skip the show is when Mac refuses to take accountability by bashing/teasing or just dismissing the viewpoints of people who say something indifferent to his understanding of the topic.
I say this with all the love, but Cassper was justified for not wanting to come after Mac's accusation about his son's baby mama, the comments were vile and did not sound like they were even properly researched, Heavy K is also justified in my opinion but once again Mac refuses to take responsibility. I hope one day this changes, I will continue supporting the podcast and hope to watch that growth unfold.

For the first time ever I feel like Mac is not listening to the chillas instead his ego is at play. Heavy k does deserve an apology from you. It breaks my heart when Sol and Ghostlady agree to MacG’s wrongdoings. They don’t correct him, that guy suffers from a Napoleon complex. I really Love this Podcast. Having Joined it during the miseries of Lockdown and always lifted up my spirits through humour and its informative nature. However, i m starting to get tired of having to invest my time on defending it because of the Host's irresponsible and careless articulation of issues especially in relation to people's names and brands. This should and could have easily been avoided before it escalates had MacG just apologized and kept it moving like he did with that DJ sbu Gay Joke.
I felt in this case he had to hide behind hus son's illness in order to seek sympathy from us Chillers knowing how much we loyal to the show. He then Capitilized on that loyalty to manipulate us.
MacG you were wrong. Your misquote of Haeavy K, deliberately or not.. Is what sparked this drama. Your Son's illness (which we are sorry for) is an after the fact unfortunate situation so cut us some slack, be a bigger Man and by doing so, you will gain more respect from some of us who Love this show dearly.
This show has some potential to become the biggest thing to have ever happened in entertainment hence We want it to remain authentically relevant. Lets do away with these gossip elements that are starting to crip in now for the sake of keeping the dignity and credibility of the show.
Swallow your pride Man and even if you sort this out with Heavy private its still ok.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with apologising when you are wrong. It doesn't make you less of a human being but a better one. Macg is wrong he can justify his wrongdoing all he wants but everyone that he was wrong, just swallow your pride and apologise brother you can't be always right. That's true however I personally wouldn't apologize to someone if you can't give me time to also gather my personal affairs after explaining it to you. If given the time to process and replay events I then am able to find faults etc. The apology is not necessarily the issue in this case. Also, I'm not sure if he said he wouldn't apologize at all.

I’m a chiller and I love the podcast…….What Mac and the crew don’t get is to them it might not be a big deal but to Heavy K it is….so he should have apologised because he did misquote him. He wanted Heavy to have human decency towards his situation so leena Mac should also be decent towards Heavy and this whole situation.
