    u need to scrunch out the gel, thats why it looked like that. It forms a cast and then you scrunch it out and it should come out bouncy and smooth :)

    • @NaS94612
      @NaS94612 Год назад +58

      Yep! If it’s crunchy then you did it right, the mousse and gel are doing their job, helping the wave/curl hold it’s shape… use a little hair oil and smooth it over the hair, it will break down that sticky crunchy texture but leave the hold

    just scrunch your hair out it’s called “scrunch out the crunch” you can do so with your hands or with some oil too. you did add a lot of mousse but most of the time mousse and gel will create a cast (aka the straw feeling) and the cast is usually good bc ot helps the curls maintain their shape

    Where you went wrong was slathering that much mousse in your hair 😊 you also don't need gel and mousse combined imo but if you do less is always more when adding products!
    Also something to remember you don't want your hair over saturated with product or it will weigh it down. It's a learning process to figure out how much works best for your hair type. You definitely don't wanna hear the scrunch lol start with less and you can always build up more if it doesn't feel fully covered

    From a wavy/curly hair girl; if u do it that way you either need to use less moose or scrunch the crunchiness out of your hair.
    Personally I like to scrunch normal Moroccan oil into my hair like 1-2 pumps then I use special Moroccan wavy hair stuff and scrunch that in on top of the other stuff (usually 1 big pump) then microfibre scrunch it and let it air dry.
    I find if u defuse the hair it only makes it poofy and uncontrollable doing it my way makes it a very controlled wave if you know what I mean

    You should either use gel or mousse. They both provide hold. You need to make sure your curl cream/conditioner are evenly distributed along your hair. Afterwards you want to glaze your mousse or gel over your hair to provide a cast and the scrunch to encourage the curl pattern. Then you want gently flip your hair upside down and hover your diffuser over your roots, mids, and ends until you can feel a cast being formed. Then you can start putting your hair in the diffuser bowl and that will provide more volume. If your hair feels crunchy after you dried it you a hair oil and scrunch it out and that will create more volume. Hope that helps!!!😊
