Honestly can't say that I've seen a forged design that gets me going. There's a certain design trend to the forged cuts that just doesn't speak to me.

I would think that the heavier wheels are gonna make a difference in fuel economy, city versus highway anyway. In city you have to get those humps going, and then stop them. On highway you get those humps going, then the weight would help keep them going. I think anyway, I don't know the rules of the forces that are affecting the rims, or being applied to the rims. Any experts out there?
It seems like forged is becoming the industry standard with better technology producing a better product more and more companies are now doing it that way so therefore they should be able to lower the price of these wheels
Do you guys ever plan on adding how the wheels were manufactured to your website as a sort feature? Gravity cast, low pressure cast, forged and now rotary forged. It help to understand some of the price differences. I thought I saw somewhere method and some grid wheels are low pressure cast and that's why they may cost more.

Forged is the only way to go for me.. the ability to sand down and buff out scratches, curb rash, etc is priceless to me. I’d rather spend the 5-6k dollars on a set of forged wheels once than a new 2000 dollar set of alloys every year or two.

Well, the only compression or "forging" on the rotary forged wheels is on the outer part, the spokes are still standard cast
I don't know much about wheels but I can deduct that this is where most pressure actually goes
Main difference between forged and cast is the strength, so forged can deform with enough strength, but cast will fracture/break
So aside from weight considerations I really don't see an advantage over the intermediary design

What about HRE’s? They were making massive wheels for SUVs for a while. I remember seeing them on a Range Rover in the 90’s and thinking wheels couldn’t get larger (I was wrong, I know).

The 18 wides are so big, when they ship them to you, they are in 2 pieces. You have to put them together. Our boss did a sema build can't remember if they are 16 or 18 wide but with a set of 28s with 42in tires.

A much denser material?! Dude nah. Forging’s realigning the molecular structure of the metal, making it more resistant to stress. Same density, but you can make it lighter.

Everybody assumes that a forged wheel is lighter, but with the amount of material and insane pressure applied to a forged wheel, we hardly noticed a difference between that and the cast. The rotary forged was significantly lighter.
Really don't care 😂😂😂 as long you look after it you be sweet but I ain't gone spend 8 10k on a set when you get a nice decent designed wheel for 1.8k 2.5k 😂😂😂
