great video. I'm getting heavy into running but think I'm developing Plantar Fasciitis and have some pronation. Last time I bought shoes for help they just hurt my feet and I opted for a more lightweight minimal running shoe that feels fine. Now I'm just interested in some physical therapy to improve my running/landing technique. Thanks for the video.
Humans walk more than they run.. so I am hoping you can devote some of your videos to the art and the science of walking.
Maybe so. I see so many walking and and swinging their forefoot laterally outward with each step. However barefoot running will train your feet to stay parallel and as a side effect improve walking mechanics.
@@alancox3739 Could not agree more, if you watch alot of people walking barefoot for those in those countries where barefoot-ism ergh hate the term is shunned, actually walk with feet diagonally versus in a straight line, crab walking. Barefoot walking or just being barefoot will teach you pretty quickly what is anatomically correct by either super effcint biomechanics or pain.
Very true! And, thats a great idea for me to look into because I'm actually unsure if we're meant to walk forefoot vs heel strike? I think we may be geared more for forefoot walking because most toddlers walk forefooted and some East African runners who grew up running barefoot, like Tirunesh Dibaba, walk forefooted.
