Hi ben, hope you notice my comment.. How much do you think is the maximum budget per campaign? Cause I noticed that the more I increase my budget per campaign, the higher cost per message it becomes... How will I scale up if that's my case?
I studied your videos for about 6months now , I started my first ad campaign following your guidelines and amazing results sold over £1700 in 7 days from £10 per day conversion campaign , thanks ben
Thank you for this! I’m presenting at my BNI group and this is super helpful for explaining budget to local businesses who may be hesitant about digital marketing.
Hello Ben , thank you for the video. Can you please create video about Facebook catalog sales and ecommerce mangers. I believe that no body else will explain it better than you. Thanks
I think $2.50 a day is a good start for me. You talk about (what feels to me like) much larger figures but my business is microscopic, and my income is low, AND since I'm very bad a marketing, I'm predicting I'll have a 0% ROI 😂. I care more than $2 a day, but I can't afford to lose $3 a day. Anyone else starting VERY low?
Hello sir, i was new to your channel and fb ads, i want to ask, so i sell like mens fashion like Shirt, Jacket, waistbag etc, I've heard that i need to run Traffic objectives first to optimize my pixel, is it true? , my goal was sales ,do you think i have to run Traffic first or straight to the Conversion Thank in advance ❤
Thank you sir. I want to ask, can I quickly use my Facebook Ad budget? For example, my budget is $100. Can I set the start time around 09am and then the end Time around 02pm. Does it have bad effect?
Love your videos on RUclips but gave up on your 3 Killer Facebook video after 15 minutes of introduction without any of the content I was watching the video for. You might consider a shorter introduction. You are trying to convince me that you know what you are doing which I already believe and that I should be interested in Facebook marketing which I already am which is why I signed up for the video. Great videos on RUclips. Wanted the same content in your workshop.
Do you have any leads on how to decreased you CPM ? I've used Feedback score bosting services in the past to do it. Is they're a way to do it organically ?
I’m one of those people who cares about $5 a day lol. So I was wondering, is it actually realistically worth it at that minimum? Like, as a super small, brand new, 1 person business with barely any leads so far, would a $5 minimum bring me anything? Even if it brings me 2 sales, I’d be happy lol…but is that even possible?
Thanks Ben, Personally my issue is with the definition of "for testing" because let's say Im starting on a budget of $5/day and have poor performances. Should I scale up to see if if performance stay poor with a higher budget ? Lets take it a step further and say that FB ads performance looks good in the stats (with minimal budget) but there are no results - lets say good CTR but still not conversions (purchases in e-commerce). In that case, should one wait? increase budget and wait? or change something drastically like audience? Not really asking because probably there is no answer to those without knowing the whole picture... Just sharing a bit of frustration.. Starting from scratch is hard :) Great one like always
As Ben mentioned in one of the videos, when having very low budget like your 5 dollars per day, make sure to limit the number of of your adsets in the CBO Campaign to only 2 (warm and cold). In each adset have only max 2 ads - different formats like image and video each. If the performance is poor at low budget it will stay poor at high budget. (Make sure to wait at least 7 days - ads learn during that time). However, If people are clicking into your ads, your adds are ok. The problem is on the website. See why people that are clicking on adds are not doing what you want them to do on your site.
@@paulmajewski3563 yea Im aware of both of those.. Again just sharing bit of my frustration. Don’t actually think that its possible to help without knowing the details about what are the products, how the website structure and etc..
@@paulmajewski3563 Spot on with mostly everything. However, I will say that the 7 day Learning phase is only exited after 50 events occur. Else, it will stay in the learning phase until that threshold is met.
I'm analysing my ads and I'm looking for a reference points for good ratios between link clicks to landing page views. Then landing page views to content viewing then into add to cart and purchase. I'm thinking what are a good numbers if for instance we start with 1000 link clicks... How this number drops in the steps i mentioned above? What is a good standard?
Hi Ben! As always, great video! I've watched many of your videos, but still i don't know when should I expect first sales (i'm selling 6$ ebooks with food recipes). After few hours? Days? I'm running conversion ads campaigns (1 for leads, 1 for purchases). Thanks!
Isn’t depends on the cpm? , i advertise in Mexico and the average cpm is 1.5-2.5 usd so it works for me 5 dollars a day. even more, when i have tried to increase to 15 or 20 per day seems to underperform. What I like to do, is to take advantage of that and create many ad sets at 5 dollars a day, so in the end of the day that allows me to create incredible LLA and custom audiences and that’s where i allocate the big budget
Do you try to find the adsets doing the best and then scale those? Bc i was thinking if u have many adsets and have different interests, some of them might not do as well as others.
We're planning to start with $240 daily budget ($60 per ad set) for testing. We can afford that amount. However, would you suggest starting with something smaller, cause we haven't figured out what interests would be profitable, therefore, if our targeting is off, that amount will go to waste, right?
Hi Tengiz, if you can afford to lose that amount initially then I would start with that. You'll be able to test much faster and should reach successful campaign stage quicker.
Hi Ben, Thanks for all clips as you uploaded on your channel. Just quick question, considering Apple’s iOS 14 Privacy Update will negatively Impact our Facebook conversion data do you recommend could we still run a campaign for advertising or should we hold them? Thanks
You should get conversions but it will take a while. You may need to wait to weeks to make a call. That's one of the main advantages of spending more - speed
Hi Ben, good video as always! Wondering how you and the lead guru team plan your FB Ads given you have lots of clients? Do you do all of this on Google sheets or another planning platform? Looking to improve efficiency in 2021 with all of my ad accounts so wondered if you have any tips/advice on this :) Cheers
Hi Maxwell, our account managers handle this as they see fit. Some will plan stuff out in an excel doc yes. We don't have a centralized software but will be looking to add one.
Thanks for watching guys! Let me know what you think in the comments :)

Definitely food for thought. A lot to think about my situation with the info you provided. Thanks and great vid.

Targeting different audiences or running more engaging ad creative usually does the trick.

Not relevant to the post Ben but do you use any tools/software to help you manage accounts and/or reporting?
Hi Matt - other than what we see in Ads Manager no - although this may be something we look into adding shortly to help streamline our processes.

You are very welcome. I'd keep advertising as you have been for now. We will see what comes of it and how we need to react soon no doubt.
@@BenHeath Thanks for replying me back.
I have launched some campaigns sometimes I got good orders but somdays no good orders...even there is a diff. in ctr daily....how can I stabilise this
That's very common with new campaigns. The longer they run and the higher the budget, the more stable they are likely to become.
Now what should I how I make this go good
If your just using $5 a day to test interest when should you know to kill one? because I'm pretty sure you shouldn't expect conversions right?

Not a big fan in general. Although there are dropshippers that can deliver a good customer experience with short delivery times and quality products.

What's the minimum budget per ad set?
That's not really how I think about budgets because I nearly always use CBO
Hi, So are you saying if you have a 300 dollar budget you will not get sales?
No you can get sales with that budget - it's just not likely to be a game change for your business.
@@BenHeath Ok so as you get sales you can begin to increase the budget as you get sales is this correct?
any ad that generates 5x 4x returns should it be discounted or should we increase the budget?
It depends if that is an acceptable ROAS for you. For most businesses it is but not all.
@@BenHeath thank you
Hi, what does 10x mean, do you mean spending 5£ and your revenue is 50£?
Yep :)
@@BenHeath Thanks Ben.
Is 10% of your monthly revenue a good amount for ads? (Example 1000 for ads when revenue is 10k per month , eshop)
That's not a place to be - some won't be able to do that much and some will do a lot more - it depends on your business.
@@BenHeath what is a good budget for start up? And what should be the amount when you want to scale up a successful campaign of 5 euros per day?
Is it still valid for 2023 ?
Yes :)
Can anyone tell the money in Indian Rupees (INR)
Google will do that for you :)
