My Michigan grandmother made these all the time (back in the 1950s). Butter and cinnamon sugar was our favorite topping. We called them “Dough Dodgers”. Fed six kids bellies in the morning.

(God became man in the most backward and filthiest place of all, and only in this way is God able to clearly show the entirety of His holy and righteous disposition. Holiness is a representation of His righteous disposition, and indeed God's holiness is His righteous disposition. Your corrupt dispositions are the context of today's words-I use them to speak and to judge and to carry out the work of conquest. It is precisely because of this judgment that you are able to see that God is the righteous God, and that God is the Holy God, precisely because of It is His holiness and His righteousness that He judges you and He unleashes His wrath on you. If a person judges another, isn't it like they are slapping their own face? How can people be equally filthy to judge those like them? Only the holy God Himself is able to judge all of mankind as unclean. How can man see man's sins, and how can man be worthy to curse these sins? When people's corrupt dispositions are revealed, God speaks to judge people, and only then do people see that He is holy.)
Almighty God said
GOD became MAN in the most BACKWARD and DIRTIEST PLACE of ALL, and only in this way is GOD able to CLEARLY SHOW the FULLNESS of His DIVINE and RIGHTEOUS DISPOSITION. And how is His righteous disposition shown? This is shown when He JUDGES PEOPLE'S SINS, when He JUDGES SATAN, when He HATES SIN, and when He hates the ENEMIES who fight and rebel against Him. ☀️
The WORDS I SPOKE TODAY are to JUDGE MAN'S SINS, to JUDGE MAN'S UNRIGHTENESS, to CURSE MAN'S DISOBEDIENCE. MAN'S WRONGNESS and DECEPTION, MAN'S WORDS and WORKS---all that is NOT in ACCORDANCE with GOD'S WILL MUST be SUBJECTED to JUDGMENT, and man's DISOBEDIENCE denounced as SIN. ☀️
His WORDS revolve around the PRINCIPLES OF JUDGMENT; He USES JUDGMENT on MAN'S UNRIGHTENESS, CURSE on MAN'S DISOBEDIENCE, exposing MAN'S ugly FACES to SHOW HIS OWN RIGHTEOUS DISPOSITION. HOLYNESS is a representation of His RIGHTEOUS DISPOSITION, and in ACTUALLY GOD'S HOLYNESS is REALLY His RIGHTEOUS DISPOSITION. 🙏
Your CORRUPTED DISPOSITIONS are the context of NOW'S WORDS---I use them to SPEAK and JUDGE and to DO the WORK of CONQUERING. This is the only REAL WORK, and this is the only one that COMPLETELY shines forth the HOLYNESS of GOD. If there is NO taint of CORRUPTED DISPOSITION in YOU, GOD WILL NOT JUDGE you, nor will He SHOW YOU His RIGHTEOUS DISPOSITION.
Because you HAVE a CORRUPTED DISPOSITION, GOD WILL NOT JUST SAVE YOU, and THROUGH it SHOWS His HOLINESS. 🙏
If God sees that human impurity and disobedience are too serious but He did not speak or condemn you, nor did He punish you for your unrighteousness, this would prove that He is not God, because He is not angry with sin; He will be just as dirty as man. NOW, it is because of your filthiness that I am JUDGING you, and because of your CORRUPTION and DISOBEDIENCE I am punishing you. ☀️🙏
I do not flaunt My power over you or deliberately oppress you; I do these things because of you, who were born in this land of impurity, and have become very impure. ☀️
You deliberately lost your integrity and humanity and became like pigs born in the dirtiest corner of the world, that's why I'm judging you and that's why I unleash My wrath on you. It is precisely because of this JUDGMENT that you ARE ABLE TO SEE that GOD is the RIGHTEOUS GOD, and that GOD is the HOLY GOD, precisely because of His HOLYNESS and His RIGHTEOUSNESS that He JUDGES you and RELEASES His HATE on you. ☀️
Because He CAN REVEAL His RIGHTEOUS DISPOSITION when He SEES MAN'S DISOBEDIENCE, and because He CAN REVEAL His HOLYNESS when He SEES MAN'S UNFIRST, this is ENOUGH to SHOW that He is GOD HIMSELF, who is HOLY and CLEAN, but LIVES in LAND OF DIRT. If a man wades in the mud with others, and there is nothing holy about Him, and he has no righteous disposition, he has no right to judge man's wickedness, nor is he fit to exercise judgment on man.
IF a PERSON JUDGES ANOTHER, is it NOT LIKE THEY ARE SLAPING their OWN FACE? ☀️
HOW DO PEOPLE DESERVE to JUDGE THOSE WHO ARE LIKE THEM DIRTY?☀️
ONLY HOLY GOD HIMSELF is ABLE to JUDGE the WHOLE of FILTHY CREATION. HOW CAN MAN JUDGE MAN'S SINS?
HOW CAN MAN SEE MAN'S SINS, and HOW CAN MAN BE WORTHY of CURSING these SINS? ☀️
If God is not worthy to judge the sins of man, how can he be a righteous God Himself? ☀️
When PEOPLE'S CORRUPT DISPOSITIONS ARE REVEALED, GOD SPEAKS TO JUDGE PEOPLE, and only then do PEOPLE SEE that He is HOLY. 🙏
As He JUDGES and PUNISHES MAN for his SINS, exposing MAN'S SINS, NO PERSON or THING SHALL ESCAPE THIS JUDGMENT; He is the one who JUDGES ALL THE UNFAIR, and only THAT way can his DISPOSITION be SAID to be RIGHTEOUS. If not, how can it be said that you are equals both in name and in fact? 🙏

This is Northern Irish soda bread! Slice it in half across the centre to make it thinner and toast it - eat with a fried egg.

Мы тоже такой печем , только один большой,а потом разрезаем или ломаем. Так делали наши предки,запорожские казаки в походах, пекли на большой сковороде на костре. Мы и сейчас часто печем такой хлеб дома, когда лень идти в магазин и ещё потому,что он намного вкуснее обычного. Есть в нем какая -то изюминка от степей и ветров, какой -то зов предков,романтика...☺️

Wow~ Thank you so much for this recipe! I will definitely be making this very often. I actually switched out the vegetable oil with unsalted melted butter as a substitute, it worked just as well. The bread was crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside, and it tasted so fresh, I've never had freshly made bread before. This is definitely one of my favourite recipes.
