- Once people know that you like to grill, they are likely to give you anything and everything from the grilling section at the local hardware store. Some of that stuff is great and others are gimmicks. With this guide, you'll be able to narrow down your list to something they'll really enjoy.
I've listed a few of the items in the video for your convenience in finding them:
Nandos Peri Peri : amzn.to/3PXSSm8
Gochujang : amzn.to/3Meig3G
Slicing Knife : amzn.to/3magNRr

You got to love this guy.....he's better than those professional PBS shows.....he's great
I grew up watching Steve Raichlen. Those PBS shows gave me the inspiration.
@@GrillTopExperience but Mr grill is greater
I love Nando’s Piri-Piri sauce. Good idea. All of good ideas. The Looft lighter is great option.
It was great to get a chance to meet you yesterday, and an honor to shake your hand sir.
I was excited to meet you once I saw your name on the list that was on the flyer that went to the local BBQ group. I knew I had to go. I'm sure it won't be the last time!
This is one of the best, most informative videos I have ever seen. Thank-you! I agree with Brett: interesting content, with out-of-the-box thinking... by what appears to be.. a down to earth young-dude, with a subtle hint of grill geek, in a blue collar back yard. Love it! Now, I hope you have a video that shows how to actually cook food on the grill. I'll look for that next.
Thanks for the kind words. I'll take that geek badge with pride.
The title of this video is why I enjoy this channel so much. This fellow always seems to bring about interesting content in his videos that are out-of-the-box thinking. "Dont Waste Your Money On These Father's Gifts" is absolute genius! I will self-admit that I would be one of those shoppers that would walk into a store looking for a BBQ gift/idea for my father, etc. And, I'd probably make the same mistake. Your observations made a great deal of sense and your humor adds to your tips. Thanks for sharing and well done (no pun intended).
I forgot that my mom gave me those bike themed BBQ tools. Turns out she still watches my videos 🤣
Thanks for the support and kind words!
Awesome video! Spot on.
Awesome video man! Love the hilarious nitro!
I love your channel and your videos! Thank you very much for all the great content. I appreciate you
Thank you for the continued support!
Great video and recommendations 👌👌
Good tips and options. The only one you could elaborate on is the meat gifting. Unless the gifter is aware about a certain meat company someone likes, they might end up with Omaha Steaks gift pack... which sounds like a great deal due to marketing, and advertised discounts. However, the meat quality is avg, and very overpriced. Best to ask where they like to buy their meat a few weeks b4... and place an order for father's day. My Costco had prime tomahawks for $14.99 lb for Memorial Day weekend... great deal for an awesome cut. And you are right... what bbq'er wouldn't want a baby flamethrower! I want one!
That's a really good point. My favorite meat gift is a Costco gift card. Use it on what you want, when you want! Everyone has to try a Tomahawk at least once.
Hello, new subscriber here, I really appreciate your content. Wishing you a million subs.😊😊😊
Thanks for watching and the support! I'd be stoked if it hist 100k subs.
I have never found a tool set that every tool was a winner, so I have a mixed bag of different brands. One I will recommend is the Lodge 16" tongs. I stumbled across those a few years ago and haven't found a better set of tongs yet. They are that long specifically to move charcoal briquettes and I use them for that frequently along with handling food on the grate. My go to spatula is an old one from a Vermont Castings set back when Vermont Casting still made grills. Of course that set could have been made by some other manufacturer and just labeled Vermont Castings. I have no idea where the rest of the set is. I am somewhat picky with my kitchen and prep knives and my sister found out I like Wusthof so she bought me the Wusthof four piece tool set one year for Christmas. They were undersized for any real use and I never even took them out of the box. And the damn set cost $150! I sold them suckers on Ebay.
I can tell you're a great gift giver. 😁
....for people who like to grill :)
Fantastic ideas, as always.
I would throw one more gift suggestion if you are a spouse, or a family member who has been the fortunate recipient of many great grilled, smoked or slow-cooks meals, and has deep pockets, over the years. It's one thing I don't own. A butcher's block, or one of those really nice wood cutting boards, along with some oil. Maybe one day if somebody reads this. ;-)
Ooooh end grain cutting board. Nice choice!
@@GrillTopExperience That's the one! Couldn't think of the name as I am taking a few days off, visiting family, and am still in bed. :-)
Wait…. Have ya’ll got Nando’s in the US?
I can buy the sauce on Amazon at least. It looks like they have a few restaurants in a couple states though. I would definitely go if we had one close.
I gave you the Queen of Farts hot sauce and I am your 69th “like”. Nice.
