Just wanted to pop in and say thanks for these videos. I'm switching my podcast workflow from Mac/Ableton Live (which was a bit overkill for podcasting) to a new Windows laptop. I was looking for a new DAW solution and landed on Reaper. It's not resource-intensive, it's got way more options and scalability than Audacity. These videos are super helpful. Really appreciate it. Keep up the good work.
Thanks for the great video and all the info. I've been using a bunch of different resources to try to speed up my workflow for my longform podcast and your videos are really helping. Question, how did you manage to shrink your mixer to the point where it allows much more of the track's area to be visible? On your videos, I like the ratio of Mixer size to Track size. When I try to scale down my mixer it hits a limit and will no longer shrink the height.
What you see in this video is a fresh install of Reaper. There might be something up with your install if you're not able to get it that small. I'd suggest posting a screenshot in the FB group and you can get ideas from the community.
great videos. i really appreciate all the help right now, cuz im such a noob at all this. Learning tons. Question: where did you get your outro music made? or did you make it yourself? Again, im a noob at all this
Starting with podcasting and reaper at the same time. Thanks for a great video!
Glad it was helpful!

Thanks for this series. I’m a Voiceover coming from Adobe Audition. The pace and detail of your videos is perfect for me to work along with.
Awesome! I love to hear it!
thanks, handy tips even for not-so-beginner users!
cheers :)
Yes! That's awesome to hear.
Thank you SO MUCH!! This was very helpful for my coming podcast (Coffee Humor with "Joe Caffeine")

Hi. New user here. I can't get preferences to open. If I try to open it a couple of times, Reaper stops responding. Any advice?
