Yeah most other sports the action is non-stop, the situation is changing constantly, there's no time to make a prediction. It could happen, but very rare, and even more rare that they'd be right.

He's just been a steady, workman like reliever who has been on a bunch of different teams over the years. He had some decent seasons as a reliever for Toronto. But he's most famous for that random, insane prediction lol.

Because a 3-1 count usually means the pitcher will try to pitch for a strike, increasing the odds it could be hit out of the park.
3-1 count the pitcher HAS to throw a strike, so it's gonna be a fastball or something meaty over the plate.
