I remember the Derek Anderson laughing thing vividly for some reason. I know they were losing bad but idk. I’ve always had the feeling that even if you’re getting destroyed you don’t have to act like your entire family was murdered on the sideline.
His teammate also could have said something to cheer him up which made him smile for a moment. People laugh at funerals as well when bringing up fun moments about the person who passed. That reporter asking that question was a total piece of garbage

Idk how much he was paid or how bad the cards were at the time, but im pretty sure they were getting creamed in that specific game and for him to be laughing there, it really comes off like he doesnt give af and thats not a good look.

Sherman has been my favorite player for a long time for that reason. Yeah he’s a bit arrogant at times, but #1 he backs it up by being one of the best corners in the game (and FYI y’all, if you try him with a sorry receiver like Crabtree, that’s the result you gonna get), and #2 the on-field stuff is mind games.
Super well spoken, intelligent, and obviously he’s a great NFL athlete, but his game is as much mental as physical.

Even as a purple-bleeding Vikings fan, I loved that group of Seahawks with all my heart and soul. Couldn't get Beast Mode to talk; couldn't get Sherman to shut up. It made for a lot of fun in Seattle back in the day.
There was a lot of dumb questions but the one that probably killed me most was “Do fans have a right to know-”
The answer is automatically “No”. We the fans don’t have a right to know anything. We have a right to go to a game to see a team play. Anything else is completely circumstantial.

It wasn't a sure thing, to the public, whether he would or wouldn't play that next game, which was the AFC championship game against the Jaguars in 2018. The year they played the Eagles in the Super Bowl. He ended up playing though. He wasn't 100%, but he played. Pats won, as we all know. I'm almost positive Brady was 100% sure in his mind that he was playing. They just didn't want to let the Jaguars know anything about the seriousness of the injury and what not.

Shortly after Derek Anderson's rant, he played his last game for the Cardinals, against the Rams. He went 7 for 20 with a pick and was then replaced by John Skelton. He actually persisted in the league as a backup for another 8 years, at Carolina and Buffalo. He backed up Josh Allen as a rookie starter.

You don’t just go to Stanford for just football you know. It’s one of the few schools where academic excellency is just as important as being an athlete
Just Ruckus that’s what makes the athletes impressive. Not just do they compete in a power 5 conference, but they excel in academics at one of the top schools in the U.S. Ivy League schools may be good at sports too, but none of them have a football team in a power 5 conference like Stanford.
