haha, when I run solo I'm great at keeping my character light, but when I run with my group they are all hoarders and fill their field and mountain backpacks up ridiculously fast. Then they look at me running a dmr and pistol with an assault backpack and say we need someone to carry this badly damaged vaiga, 5 damaged knives and 3 spare hunting jackets lol. Every Single Time...
I don't care- I always stash a bottle of back up strawberry jam in my bag in case I'm stuck in an area with little food/water- or if I'm in a smoke -em-if ya-got -em kinda situation. lol
I still hoard but it's because I spent a week starving to death when I first started.
Day z is amazing. When I'm bored I try different play styles. Like stealthy ghillie sniper and stalk people or squads until you see a opportunity to get easy kills/loot
7:43 I agree to a certain extent when your first starting off make sure you eat everything you see after try to keep 1-2 pieces of meat they go a long way
Also, doesn't your food and water go down faster when your levels are high?
@@GnrMilligan No, when it's at the cap it stays theere for a long time. The 3/4 one burns faster than the full one, and before you know it, you're yellow.
It's for this reason I always keep a unit of food (preferably one with hydration qualities) just in case I need to sprint for a long distance.

A lot of great advice, vast majority already SOP for me but rags undisinfecting when they take damage answers a question I've had for ages but never bothered to find out 😂 Thanks! Also rag shoes are like slippers. You don't do distance but great for indoors pvp because they're so quiet.

5:19 so there’s an “overwhelm” type mechanic in the game where u can bum rush a player and the more you smack em around with consecutive hits the more overwhelmed they get causing a fast KO……..I’ve been here since the LAR first hit servers and I didn’t even know that I ALWAYS thought the game was plain BROKEN when it came to bum rushing an armed person.
Yeah, more accurately, there's a shock system. It applies to bullets as well- so if your guy takes enough shock- he goes out. Visually, it's the blacking out that you see. The heavier/more consecutive you get hit, the more you start to black out. I like it as a feature, but they could probably debuff some melee, for sure. lol
@@NobleNemesis I definitely know about the shock mechanic I was being a little bit sarcastic but at the same time sometimes the game can be a little broken. I’ve been playing this game for a long time since the LAR came out to be exact. Damn good game has it’s annoying moments but it’s a masterpiece in the making

My friend and I were having a great time at the game until I asked if I could feed him. Suddenly I “got the wrong message.”

Question, how can we craft a leather backpack so close to the coast if garden lime is so hard to find? And you need garden lime to make tanned leather🤔
Can be a bit of a crapshoot- but those sheds are everywhere on the coast and in the towns adjacent. Just carry the pelt with you til you find it, then combine it on the spot.
It's probably better if you find the lime first, but it's pretty heavy, so.

In the real world, claymore landmines are directional. Which is why you see in the movie, edge of Tomorrow. Strapping them to their chests with the words clearly visible" point towards enemy"
Incidentally, there's also a sticker on them (or at least there was 20 years ago) that said do not eat... The fact that that sticker was required tells you a lot about the anticipated intelligence of the people using this device 🙂

The removal of pants in water isn’t really necessary. They can be rung to damp. Plate carrier, gloves, shoes and if you don’t have a leather pack backpack too.
Is player lag still triggered at the 1100m render range?

Just downloaded the game for the 5time and it feels sooo smooth and clean!
They need to add more character customization, more transportation options but still make it rare such as: bikes, atv’s, etc. Add smaller wildlife to hunt and a craft able water holding item

I found a field shovel that fits in my bag but I just can't find something to put the stuff in..
Still didn't find a waterproof bag, found only 1 whetstone in 36 hours of playibg so it's not exactly easy to find and i disagree eith that statement

A mistake in creating an improvised filter.. I only want to call this out just in case new players don’t understand.
You don’t combine a gas mask and a bottle, but a DUST MASK and a bottle to create a filter FOR your gas mask. All love man!

Unknown: You can eat up to (depending how you count single or double) 12 or 6 bites at a time. Wait until your stomach arrow goes down and repeat.
Rotten food: You can eat up to one inventory slot worth of a rotten item without getting sick. Meaning a rotten apple (1 slot) at 99% is good in one go. A cucumber (3 slots) is good for 32% in one go. A pumpkin (4 slots) good for 24% in one go etc.
Equipping bright clothing is actually meta as fugg. So like Just don't be a dumb dumb or get caught lacking everyone's profiling it's dangerous.

You shouldn't eat everything you find. If youre already completely full, it depletes faster than if youre in the sweet spot just past yellow and in the white.
You should eat everything, he even says this in the video, the benefits of eating far outweigh the extra couple minutes you get. Unless youre a new player or someone who isnt very good at the game eat everything

Yes, for immunity, given the changes to the immunity system and because it would be stupid to carry 8 steaks with you and take up all that space. Plus all the other reasons the guy mentions in the video. Your two options are leave the steaks you cant be bothered cooking or eat all the stakes, carrying them is stupid. In just over an hour they'll be rotten anyway. Always eat the food you find

The bandage is around 3 seconds, the bandana is around 8 seconds. Also, you can't stack bandanas (unlike bandages) so if you get multiple cuts you can't continuously heal =]

Dayz just feels too repetitive without any goal which is the point of dayz but still it gets boring I get surprised by people that can make content with it for hours on end on a stream
DayZ itself is a blank canvas. It puts you in a world with no rules and tells you to survive by any means. It's only limited by your imagination =]

That's why you need to have an imagination. There's more to it than just running around mindlessly killing. There's base building, hunting, fishing, exploring, fixing cars, trucks, zombies, farming and of course interaction with other players. Not only PVP, but there's pve and roleplay. But it requires some imagination and creativity.
