Awesome video! Just got my second humidor from my grandpa, its as old as me lol Im super pumped about filling it up! Its wild that cigars are so fun and such a large hobby haha keep the videos coming
I have a tupidor a desktop humidor, a thermal electric humidor and a military grade humidor from case elegance as well. The electric humidor has honestly been the most challenging. I couldn’t keep the humidity up when turned on. I didn’t realize how important it was to look at the atmospheric conditions as well as how much cool air you should be pumping into your system. It all depends on how much atmospheric moisture you have in the air that depends on how much cool air flow you give to maintain proper humidity levels I’ve come to realize.
i've always found i needed boveda or heartfelt beads with a fan with my cigar oasis to maintain a consistent rh. without them my rh would swing up like crazy and there was a big difference between the top and bottom of the cabinet.
I may have to grab some beads. I don't use beads in my cabinet humidor in my office and it maintains great... but this one at my house will clearly require different measures.
@@CigarsDaily just part of the fun of getting a new humi 🤣i've always wondered too if the glass fronts leak and effect rh like the glass top humis tend to
The shelves woulda pissed me off ending up looking like a porcupine perforated from a nail gun, I'd have more Oliva fosho in my humi. I'm real curious to see if it will stay consistent in the RH. That tubo is neato.
I use 3 humidors, one is make shit 4 drawer humidor and just bought a" coolador" humidor to keep some of them cooler, especially the more expensive cigars and that is only in Florida for a total of a thousand cigars with Placensia , Padron, Cohiba all of them but mostly the best with Nicaragua tobacco and my favorite all of the Perdomos, all of them quality price nobody can beat them not even Democrats.
No, but we had a Diamondbacks in our backyard a couple months ago. We’ve got the coolest array of wildlife out here. There’s even a bobcat that lives in the neighborhood!
I’m still holding on strong not smoking the lone Rocky Patel American Viking I have. I wanna keep for a keep sake, along with The Raven band from blackbird among others I just won’t smoke
@@timhswanson7805 It just came to me from seeing someone elses rather large cabinet. I remember him installing several small and cheap computer fans through the shelves or next to them, to push the humidity more evenly. Maybe that could be a solution? Just brainstorming here 😊👍

From what I understand, 62% - 65% is optimal for long-term storage, but most people prefer the smoke when it's at 65% - 75%. Two humidors would be ideal.
@@alexwhite8449 anything above 70 is absolutely sinful!!! @62% I dry box my smoke 24hrs before smoking them as well. Above 65 gives it a bitter taste. Above 70 you're asking for mold

Cool Video Tim From Mesa AZ....Thanks For Sharing The Home Life...I use the Smaller New Air and Love That Humidor....Cheers

Congrats! Start of an awesome journey~
That is an awesome set up Tim
Great views on the hike, and nice cigar collection Tim. I'm enjoying the content of here as much as I do on Cigars Daily.
Thanks Steve!!! I really appreciate it. Next I'm going to have to build out my home lounge. That one should be a lot of fun.

Hyped to see you got your hands on one of those ATABEY tubos! Cool keepsake! Collection looks great, keep it coming!
Thanks! Will do!
Love these videos! Keep it up Tim!
Ah the TNT days! I remember that sticker very well on the bundle!
Hell yeah!!!
Dude. Those shelves suck. Great video as always. Keep doing what you do and God bless you brother
Thanks man!!! And they don't suck as much as they used to. Now I just need a bunch of trays lol... so I guess they still have their downside.

Where did you get a big cabinet humidor for a $150???
Oh my god, I miss the San Lotano Ovals so much. They were my favorite cigar like 5 years ago. Heard the quality has changed since then unfortunately.
Fun video.
You ever encounter any snakes on that trail?

Would it work to put in a bunch of Boveda packs to steady your rh?
Might be worth a try... maybe they can aborb the humidity when it goes over?
Maybe, but it would require a ton of those things... or one very big one!!!

i have a CC300 and countless tupperdores.
they make san lotano oval, but not connecticut
What is the name of that humidor?
Where did you get that year of the rat box?
Did you use stainless nails? If not rust may be an issue.
What humidor is this?!
