Great video. How is this when compared to Mission QX-12 MK2? Does the Mission MK12 have an built-in Amp to reduce the load on the AVR (Denon 2700H).

If u ever get a chance, try the Velodyne brand subwoofer. They're somewhat expensive, but the highest quality, most accurate sub Bass I've ever heard. Used to have a 15 inch back when I lived in the USA. Total quality.

What exact model of the velodyne do you have ?
I have recently purchased Q Accoustics Subwoofer QB12 to use it with my Klipsch Fives. But after connection, I am unable to get any effect from the SW. The SW is connected to the Klipsch Fives SW OUT through LFE IN of SW. The SW ON indication is glowing. I have set Gain level at 50% and crossover at 80HZ. But unable to get any SW effect even after boosting EQ bass level. I have tried all settings of Gain, Phase level and Crossover, but no change. It is as if the SW is not connected. I don't know what is wrong.
Please advise
Honestly, not sure, sorry! Might be that your Fives don't accept a subwoofer output?
So no line inputs? I have a tube amplifier with no sub out.

There is better,more people powerful and cheaper and actually goes lower, BK subwoofer..,.however if you own Q's little bookshelfs say the 3030i then with this sub your infor a treat as I owned the speaker and sub

This 12inch QB12 drops to 28hz and it is only 220 watts RMS peaking at 240 watts RMS. Well, my 13inch svs sb3000 drops down to 18hz and even lower with 800 watts RMS and peaking at over 2,500 watts RMS.
I think the QB12 is very underpowered. However, it is better than most soundbar subwoofers and it is very ideal for entry level in a tiny room space but not ideal (not even) for some amateur audiophiles out there.
The other half hates the sb3000 and constantly begged for mercy when volume wasn't even high enough.
Indeed, there are many solutions out there. But there's quality as much as there is quantity. No complaints whatsoever using it and thoroughly enjoying it, and yes as an audiophile.

How much does the sb3000 cost?
Also the qb12 rates to 28hz at minus 3db but the room size boosts these lower frequencies. You'll still reach 20hz in most rooms (as measured with a calibrated mic in Rew). Also these are a great articulate subwoofer for music.
Lol if you think that is thunderous bass try Monoprice 16". Duals it feels like house is collapsing

Q Acoustic is quite expensive... I'm considering JBL 305p Mkii and it can deliver a good amount of bass down to 50hz so I don't need a discrete sub...

@@TotallydubbedHD JBL 30- MKii model is professional studio monitor but you can use it as your home studio monitor. Casual listening is possible with the help of audio interface. It is the best studio monitor in the market right now.
