@@revivehificanada oh thanks, I was trying to figure out how the f... could you image from a youtube video. I think I'm buying the KEF Q150 today. Upgrading my JBL ES30. Any thoughts on that?
@@mlarry90not sure as I have not tried the es30. I'm also a big fan of JBL. Are those the 3-way ones? Some speakers are less upgrades but more of a change in sound signature for variation. For example I love changing out my q150 for my old monitor audio silver 3i or Boston CR7s. IMHO I found a true upgrade when I went up in price to my monitor audio silver 100 7g from my kef q150.
@@revivehificanada they are the 3-way, yes, with the ultra high tweeter. Thing is in my country (Uruguay) there's not everything available, and things are much pricier than in north america. So imagine KEF's are already 600 usd on discount. I'm selling my used JBL's for around 340.
I prefer the Klipsch because they are MORE LIVELY. If the treble is too much for you, then just tone it down a little bit. The KEF sounds good as well but the Klipsch are just way more dynamic.
Just got my Klipsch RP-600M and they were very forward/bright. I really enjoy the sound but just for about 5/10 min and after that I have to lower the volume way down. KEF Q350 and SVS Ultra is on it way, hoping to really like one of them.
The 600M had an abysmal crossover. The drivers were out of phase with a midrange canyon. Mine were harsh and I got rid of them. The 600M2 have fixed this issue. (I don't own 600MII, but have heard them, and they are a big difference).
Using Hifiman headphones. The KEP sounds a bit muted and dry. I prefer the Klipsch sound, which is livelier with more bass and midrange presence and nice instrument separation.
For some reason i also like the sound of the Klipsch better. But other comments say that there is a difference in volume or something. So that can be a reason that the Klipsch sound better.
That is why I like to pair speakers with the vintage amp because the knobs is there right away to adjust the treble and bass and enjoy more time listening to beautiful music.
Thx. Glad you showed how the Klipsch were more louder. I have the Q150 but the Klipsch sounded more up front whereas the Q150 sounded further back. Great videos!
The Klipsh seem more open, forward, and bright, but not as clean, as in typical Klipsh fashion. I am thinking with other music, higher volumes, might be fatiguing over time. The KEF are more laid back, not as forward, warmer, but an easier listening experience. The song "remember me" on your other videos, with the Marantz on the Q150s is just so clean, enjoyable, and easy to listen to and get engaged in. The Klipsh on the Rotel were just a tad too bright over time, and noticeable "crackles" made it not as clean, and I didn't want to listen long. I guess it depends on your personal preference. For a small speaker, the KEF really puts on a show.
@Man Sang Woo I agree the treble is too energetic which will bring fatigue on the ears but except for that the Klipsch RP600M sounds better than the KEF Q150
@TaiMan Chan these two speakers sound so different. This is why it is a great comparison. I lean towards Kef in a smaller room fed with decent power. The sound is very rich and 3-d
Better not get carried away with big dial…the kef cones will rip loose from the surround…klipsch keep on cranking…even though the kef does have a more balanced sound ..I chose klipsch
En el Klipsh se escuchan más prominentes los agudos que el KEF pero tienden a cansar con el tiempo, kef se va más al rango medio, perdiendo detalles en los agudos
Even though klispch sounds brighter it's better,q 150 you missed a lot of midrange and instruments separation with proper equalization and subwoofer I go for klispch 600
I have both and prefer Klipsch for rock and Kef for most other music. Really appreciate having two speakers that are so different to enjoy different sounds in different rooms. These two are polar opposite. The kefq150 is really great at separating instruments and images incredibly well
Hi, im about to buy one of them, At this time, both are in the same price. I like rock, but normally i hear different music genres, which one would you recommed?? Thanks!
They are not too bright or metallic in real life.. You can't judge over RUclips (except dynamics etc.) . KEF, with their english sound, a great for the bedroom! I have both. KEF can't match the dynamic and lively sound of the Klipsch but sounds mor balanced and laid back.

You need to equalize the volume levels in these comparisons, because otherwise, the louder one will always sound better
Unfair unless volume equalized. The kef images extremely well
How can you say that from a recording, playing it through another speakers/headphones?
Thanks I own the speakers that's how I know. The kefs and Klipsch are both good but each has its own sound signature.@@mlarry90

Man, the pairing with the klipsch and axa61 sounds like the band is in the room with you. I'm just smiling listening to it.

Do a re-match with the 600MII.
Kef sounds like somebody put a towel over them, much precise and clear sound from klipsch
I can clearly see the difference in efficiency
The KEF Q150 more real from Sound. Very nice the KEF.
Klipsch have a nice Sound.

@TaiMan Chan I'm a larger room the bigger Klipsch may work better but may need to use a warmer sounding amp
PERFECT!!! YOU ANSWERED MY QUESTION SO EASILY! THANK YOU VERY MUCH!
How do the KEFs perform against the RP500m?
Good question, I've seen reviews where most reviewers prefer the 500 over the 600, a little clearer, so my guess is the 500s would be at least as good
Please make comparison q150 and q350 on this audio track wich this amplifier.
Hi, I just made it, your requested comparison video. You should check it out. Thank you.
Older KEFs used to be more lively, while the newer ones are more laid back

Klipsch are way more dynamic and lively.. that is the only thing you can hear for sure
£650 klipsch Vs £300 kef's lol
Don't like Klipsch, too bright and metallic sound, Kef are less spectacular but much more natural.

horn tweeter...nuff said...i can see myself getting listening fatigue with the 600m
Day and night difference between kef and Klipsch that is because kef are small speakers
Klipsch again!
Хотел klipsh но дешевле kef, купил kef
No comparison. Klipsch all the way.
