Of course! it's' easy! LS50Meta are lighter and punchier when Q350 bass is more exposed. For this music, Q350 are more suitable IMO.

You would have been better served using the Hegel H190 amplifier to push these two speakers in my humble opinion.

B&W all day over the DBR62s. The B&W sounds much more open in its sound. It almost sounds like there’s a blanket over DBRs

Here it seems that Elac is bright in the midrange. Their sound is more even and even restrained than Polk. Polk is brighter in the upper frequencies, which is surprising, because theoretically, they cannot compete with AMT tweeter in this range. Therefore, to my surprise, I would choose Polk R200. Thanks for the detailed and correctly constructed comparison. 👏👍

Quite amazed about how crispy and harash UB52 upper mid sounds are. Maybe good for the analyzing record details and nuances, but all day listening....maybe not good.

I own the r200's but be honest I like the sound of the Elac. I have some older Elac speakers. I'll have to dig them out of the basement. I also use the Klipsch rp600 ii's I love them also.

jbl stage sound a lot better to me. you can hear the depth in the midrange, thats whats most important to me.

seems like the micca has more depth of sound.

the problem with this as that you change speakers at different parts of the song so of course chemtrails sounds better on the micca at that point. the music is cinematic at that point. you need to play the exact same section of music with each speaker.

i got it and irl it sounds really thin, there's a lot of bass and upper treble, the bass is loud but not deep. vocals sound hollow.

Elacs! Especially if you like jazz. The price dont move to often as they are 699.00 and if you can get them for 500.00, consider that a real steal.

The Wharfedale has an edge to upper mids which the Elac doesn’t. Elac for me as it will likely be less fatiguing.

The polk uses dirt cheap drivers and Xover. If in doubt watch GR Research disassembling one. It’s built like a £200 speaker and even Wharfedales at that price are superior.

I think, either amp in isolation, tweaked to your personal taste, would be a decent listening experience. I have the axr 85, i keep the treble quite high and have a yamaha sub, it sounds good to me, lots of presence, can really kick it, when required.

I've listened to this demo several times can't stand the Kefs... so big nope Monitor audio are okay, but midrange is just way too! boosted to my ears Now something I notice with both the Polks & Whatfedales is a nice warmth & clarity, but interestingly they sound about the same, the sound quality is almost non-discernable, if I listen to them & close my eyes & just listen Kefs veiled muddy sounding & boring Monitor Audio clear, clean midrange, but a ear fatiguing sound quality over time Liked both the Polk & Wharefdales equally about the same, nice sounding speakers easy on my ears, pleasing over multiple tracks. I guess if my ears were only 20 yrs old, & not 62 as they are now, I would love The Monitor Audio, but not anymore, this is also why I never have liked the Klipsch either....

There was a time I preferred the A-S301 to the point where I actually bought them. Now, I realize the extra bass slam and warmth doesn't achieve the transparency and clarity that I seek. I think we're more accustomed to having more bass than a little less when this causes a boring sound presentation over time unlike the clarity, and transparency of the Emotiva.

I've seen this and his other comparison videos multiple times and still cannot decide to choose an amplifier for my LS50 Meta's. On here the Marantz seems to hold up quite well but it's power output is relatively low at 70Wpc. And almost everywhere people suggest at least 100Wpc for these speakers...

I own the Oberon 1. At their price point they are an excellent speaker. Great mids, and in my desk system the top end is just right and always stunned by bass output…..no smearing with the mid range. Nice😊

If only the C368 had chromecast...

To sum up all the comments: We don't choose what we like so much as we like what we choose.

Using Hifiman headphones. The KEP sounds a bit muted and dry. I prefer the Klipsch sound, which is livelier with more bass and midrange presence and nice instrument separation.

Sound Staging of the Oberon 1 is perfect. B&W was good as well, not bad just missing the centre staging.

The Polk sound like they are inside a carboard box
