I just ordered the Q350’s and the Cambridge CXA61 with a SVS SB-2000 Pro on Crutchfield yesterday, and now I’m beyond excited. Thanks for the sound demo!
Now I own the q150’s and think they sounds amazing. However this review was heard via headphones and I must give props to the q350’s for richer mids and more bass overall. The q350 really brings out the standing bass and kick drum.
The q150’s are perfect with my EMOTIVA S8 sub that I use as my PC sound system. I drive them with a EMOTIVA A2 and the source is provided by a Creative AE-9 sound card and they come alive.
The 150 sounds clearer, the 350 more veiled on the vocal to my ears>After listening again, the 350 is much bigger and fuller sounding, but I wish its highs were as crisp as the 150
Q350 misses the high frequencies that is present int the Q150. The Q150 lacks low end. The 350 will not give you ear fatigue that soon. Nice speakers. Listening to them online don't give them justice. if you are in doubt best listen to them in a shop. Nice comparison.
I'm getting that sense from this YT demo on a supermarket $10 special cheap headphones. That said, the headphones are surprisingly good! I'm going to buy a second set as a backup. Back to the speakers...I'm leaning heavily towards the Q150s. Physics is physics, and the larger drivers (6.5") of the Q350s are over-emphasising the lower freqs to the detrement of the tweeter. No matter which speakers I look at, mids at around 5" seem to be the sweet spot.
Q150 - Node 2i - AXA 35 you dont need more on 5 by 5 room .. all pleasure of sound :). I had the Monitor Audio Bronze 100 and those are more bass heavy than the Q350 and replaced them with Q150 for a detailed sound. Also I recommend that the Q150 should be at least 1,5 m apart one from each other and at least 20 - 30 cm away from rear wall / 1 m away from sidewalls. Positioning its key .. you can have whatever speakers you want if they are placed wrong
listening through hifiman sundaras through an Ifi zen dac 2 balanced....the horns on the 150s are a bit fatiguing. trying to see if saving a couple hundred would be worth it in a 2.1 setup with an SB1000 Pro
the 150s are more compressed sounding, while the 350s present a wider sound stage. There is something I like about the upfront and metallic sound of the 150s.
I need to hear these for real. Either my headphones are crap, or there is some low freq distortion with both speakers (worse on the 350s). Seems the speakers are struggling with the low bass and/or are resonating with the cabinet. Impossible to tell without hearing the real thing.

How was the experience now that it’s been 7 months?
Would like to hear as well.
Sended my 350's back.....and happy with the 150's afterall
True... I love 150 as well

è vero, ho notato anche io come i q350 facciano sentire meglio il contrabasso!
Nicely recorded demo, thank you. Subscribed!

Really well done listening comparison. Thanks!

150+sub>350
You have the true observance capabilities
I have q150 + REL 12" front-firing sub matched with Musical Fidelity M5si int. amp; the closest you can get to the realistic acoustic sound!
I'm glad I went with the Q150. The Q350 sounds veiled and less energetic (too far south of neutral sounding)
Good comparison thank you, would be nice to hear them on a vintage amp or receiver, like Sansui, Marantz, Etc....

Unless You have a quite huge room go for the q150, the bass on the q350 it's so boomy!! I had a pair and it's was so bloated I had to sell them

thank you for detail...
I'll agree Armix
Dang I think the 150 actually sounds better 🤔
350 sounds a little muddy and not as clear to my ears
150 sounds clearer and brighter
listening through hifiman sundaras through an Ifi zen dac 2 balanced....the horns on the 150s are a bit fatiguing. trying to see if saving a couple hundred would be worth it in a 2.1 setup with an SB1000 Pro
Both Are AMAZING but i hear more transparent sound in the q 150´s
Kef q150 with denon N10 combination is brilliant
I read that it takes at least 100 hours of break-in for the Q350s to be on top.
can you confirm this?
Quite a similarity
Q350 is smoother to me...with more details.

Q150s sound clearer with adequate bass. I would love to hear these 2 speakers on an AXA35 amp
Noted! thanks
👍Хорошо бы их сравнить в обширном вашем тесте!
maybe these q350 or q150 be powered by my SMSL DA-9?
Have the q150 and the DA-9... unbelievable combo!!! Paired it with the SU9N... you can't beat this combination!

Check your headphones
Me suenan igual!!.
Could you play more diverse music?
thanks, I will pick some other styles of music....
Q350 significaly better...at list to me
150 is better.
too much bass at q350 i think.
не стоит покупать верхних частот не хватает платить деньги за бренд не стоит
KEF это миф не более
А что лучше на ваш взгляд?
